Assemble the Legion is so slow, especially since it's hard to ramp in these colors. The rest were all solid options--- though I'm trying to limit legendaries since they nonbo with Zinnia. I think I've been undervaluing populate and this video made me realize that. Thanks!

@@TsahayluFa I agree that assemble the legion is slow, and outside of a few conditional fetch a plains effects it's hard to ramp in these colors but feel the payoff is worth it. It lets you recover from board wipes quickly.

Crib Swap is an Eldrazi spell that triggers Ulalek. You can do some insane combos with it since its at instant speed.

@@MechanizedMinionMTG Definitely a steep cost. But imagine a combo where you cast Sol Ring first, then while it’s on the stack cast Crib Swap. Then trigger Ulalek. For 6 mana you get two sol rings, and two exiled creatures.

You missed what is probably by far the grossest card for this deck: Greater Good. It’s almost always going to be draw 5-6+, discard 3, several of which you can put into the battlefield. I actually dodged a board wipe with this last week. My opponent cast Farewell, and I sacked and drew something like 40 cards, and burned him out with Pyrogoyf. You know what gets Farewell off the stack? It’s controller being dead.

Trumpeting Carnosaur ETB discover 5 so everytime you make a copy you get a free cast. So the turn you cast it you make a copy that's two free casts. IF you somehow have double triggers from Satya then that's 3 free casts.

Interesting list. There's a couple of combos that just go off with just Stella. Cerulean whisps let's you draw your whole deck targeting Stella (there's twitch and one more that do the same untap and draw effect) And Twisted Fealty simply let's you win the game by itself with Stella instantly. Cerulean whisps is a bit pricy at 5€ but the rest are fairly cheap. From playtesting the deck needs more cantrips and has a bit too many creatures. There's also Harmonic Prodigy a two drop that adds another trigger to shamans and wizards (guttersnipe) and comes with prowess. If the whole combo infinite stuff is too competitive for you (it was a bit much for my group) focusing more on triggers and tokens is way more fun and gets out of hand by itself. Eris is the mvp in that sense.

Good video. I like making tons of tokens into 4/4 angels. I would add a blightsteel to the deck. All my commanders have a blightsteel in them.

The more i play the deck, the more sense cathedral acolyte makes, but its just so iffy. Tapping for 1 counter, ward 1, its just not enough. I find it interesting youre cutting corpsejack! It makes sense to get rid of a 4 drop, but i dunno if i agree with doing jack like that! I think lilly bowen would be an easy stay if it had trample. Its just not enough without it.

after playing the deck a lot more corpse jack seems like it could have stayed but is also a bit of a "win more" card. Certainly nothing wrong with that as it speeds the game up, not sure what I'd cut to have kept them in though.

I feel like this is a great deck for Exsanguinate. It’s a way to kill everybody when you go infinite, and it can also be a win condition once you’ve got enough land on the board to tap everything, pay 10 life to untap with Beledros, then tap again. Ton of damage, ton of life gain. Dina Soulsteeper and Marauding Blightpriest also turn the life gain from each sacrificed pest directly into damage to all opponents.

Hey again , thx again for this totally underrated video. I played the low budget upgrade version now and mind blowing. Aurelia and mardu are really strong in here but we always have the discussion if the Effekt of Caesar triggers 2 times with ishin two heavens. 😂 next step for me is to get myrel under 20€ cause I think the is absolutely dominating in this deck if I can make her undestroyable. This gives so much tokens. Great video

Really interesting,but if I check prices at cardmarket it’s an upgrade cost between 128-219 €😢 maybe I will have to sort the expensive cards out

@@MechanizedMinionMTG it’s for all 23 samples you show. The legendary creatures and the mythics are really „expensive“ here in Germany. 3 cards about 80€ +. I picked 13 out of the list for about 20€ and give them a try. My card pool isn’t that big cause I have already started magic and only have 2 precon commander sets and starterkit + OTJ and MKN bundles. But for the moment that is ok. In my playgroup they play almost self constructed commander decks an in the first evening they have blown the shit out of my face 😅. So I decided to first pimp my hail, Caesar deck. Sorry for the bad English, iam from Germany

Mindcrank + Bloodchief Ascension isn't necessarily an instant win, it is going to knockout each opponent when they first mill and it has enough counters on it though.

gave it some thought and you could run Mirror Box and Mechanized Production on the Aether Heart to take infinite extra turns but that's asking for a lot of setup but the payoff is huge.

kind of hard to say at this point, it really depends on the direction you want to lean with this. I played a game with it last night where I was drawing an extra 10 cards per round easily. With that in mind I want to lean even further into being rewarded for drawing cards and might cut Killer Service for either Laboratory Maniac or a Thassa's Oracle as another alternate win con.

I've bought every precon that's come out in the last 3 years and while I don't play all of them all the time I do play quite a few heavily modified versions of them. This one is pretty strong out of the box with a decent number of clone spells and the ability to reanimate your key creatures.

It's true this deck works well out of the box but the need to upgrade depends on the power level you and your pod play with.
