Google maps grid reference 54.363845 - 2.943220 . Western shore opposite Belle Isle. Room for about 6 or 7 vehicles. Best to get there early to grab a spec. Last time an honesty box was there to donate to the NT.

Hi galester Claife Google map reference 54.363832 - 2.943070 space for about 6 cars. You need to get there early to grab a space otherwise it's pot luck in busy periods.

Thanks for the video. I’m not sure your lovely partner / wife was quite so sure about the chicken tikka 😂 . It’s a nice walk to the castle, you can also continue and walk over the fell ( Latterbarrow) to hawks head. It’s breathtaking up there. I’m off next Monday - can’t wait. Enjoy Mate. Windermere is the best lake for boating by far. Ullswater is not great as its a wind tunnel. The registration on windermere is a bit pointless as I’ve seen many registered boats doing way over the speed limits . I noticed one on your video too.

Great video! Was thinking to book a spot at low Wray. Do You get allocated a spot to pitch your tent ? Or do you just show up and decide? I have a small two person tent and wanted to go Somewhere I could pitch close to the water as in Be able To See the water From the tent

Hi Erin glad you liked the video. At Low Wray you are allocated a pitch when you book. If Lakeside pitches are available you can specify your choice.

Great little 6hp for messing around on Windermere with the speed restrictions. Not sure of speed but it’s adequate for me and all my kit and easily gets on the plane if I do open her up 👍
