It is baffling to me that single dudes with some shitty hobby, videogames, MMA, construction, whatever it is... All these dudes seem to be convinced that if they buy expensive podcast microphones that they will instantly create entertaining or interesting content. Like youve actually deluded yourselves into thinking that people want to listen to what you have to say 🤡🤡

@@dixienormus8 haha, I'll admit it's a bummer to read comments like yours, whether it's just to troll or not, but I get where you're coming from, honestly. There's a ridiculous amount of podcasts out there, now, I wouldn't blame anyone for being annoyed about it, haha. I promise we have no delusions about ours being particularly important 😂. We just like doing it and post clips to connect with anyone who might be into it. You, clearly, are not of that crowd. 😂 Which is totally all good. I don't imagine you're in these comments for much of a conversation, but, figured I'd respond anyway haha. Take it easy, man.
@dixienormus812 күн бұрын
@@thekeepuppodcast no I appreciate the response. I just wonder what is the point of wasting your time with an endeavor like this since you admit you aren't saying anything important or entertaining. Like isn't that just mast____ation if you're only doing this to benefit yourself and you admit it's not interesting or important? Wouldn't this time be better spent doing pretty much anything else?
@thekeepuppodcast12 күн бұрын
@@dixienormus8 Oh that's interesting, I see what you're saying. So, I do know that our podcast and peripheral video content is entertaining and fun for at least the small regular audience that we have, but y'know, much of our content does revolve around entertainment, games, movies, that kinda stuff -- which is admittedly by no means world changing or "important", haha, so that's more what I meant by it not being the most important. The value in it for us is that we get to create and hang together (we're brothers), and a lot of our content is more humorous than anything, so bringing some levity to the lives of anyone who like what we do feels worth it to us. I'd also say that I don't think it's particularly mast___atory to have a hobby, whether it makes it onto the internet or not. But I couldn't agree with you more that it *can* be and I think it is for a lot of people. As far as time spent elsewhere, I mean I've been married over a decade (despite your initial assertion 😂😅), have kids, record and release music regularly and have a second podcast about mental cycles, my brother is a full time streamer and creator in the gaming sphere and we both work day jobs too so like, we prolly wouldn't be doing this if we thought it had ZERO value, haha.

It’s not that bad. You have to have the understanding before you even begin that it’s not going to be a triple A experience. If you went in and expected it to be a banger, that’s like going to watch a Friday the 13th movie and thinking it’s going to be the same quality as the shining

Seo Taiji, an icon of Korean pop culture in the 1990s, is a singer-songwriter and leader of Seotaiji and Boys. He is a singer who changed the game of Korean pop music by debuting with Seo Taiji and Boys in the 1990s, and is now called the beginning singer of K-pop and the cultural president of Korea. He led them to the center of popular culture with overwhelming support from their 10s and 20s who longed for a new culture at the time, and based on this influence, he also made efforts to break down the absurd customs that were scattered in the music industry at the time. After the second album, social messages such as unification, education, and runaway youth issues were also included in the lyrics, leaving a big topic of the time. It is no exaggeration to say that many of the K-pop music on release now began with Seo Taiji, which is still ongoing as of 2024. This is because no new format, system, or musical attempt has been made to break the format Seo Taiji has laid down until now, when it gained international popularity and fame through the Korean Wave. And artist Seo Taiji's life was a series of struggles to assert and break down any unreasonable parts in the existing social vested interests such as the music industry, broadcasting industry, and even the political and media sectors, and thanks to this, he has gained full-fledged haters since his third album, but the result is said to have given a better musical environment to his junior artists today, including reform of the deliberation system Since he was a person who heard the cultural presidency with tremendous impact in the 90s and 2000s, he has an enormous number of fans among the current celebrities. In addition, he was a perennial idol of children who grew up watching Seo on TV in their childhood, including celebrities, celebrities, and public figures as well as celebrities.

Kpop is kind of an umbrella term as it has many different styles and genres within it. I would suggest checking out Dreamcatcher. They are a seven-member girl group that uses rock/metal fusion for their title tracks. I would suggest starting with their MV 'Scream', which is the first part of their Dystopia trilogy that deals with online hate and cyberbullying. One of the members is missing due to being stuck in China due to covid restrictions, but is represented with a masked dancer.

I'm not an expert on K-Pop labels, but think of them like companies. You've got a parent companies that own a bunch of smaller ones, and those smaller ones operate however they want, but if they fail they get dropped. Labels over there will do that because it's easier managing that instead of having everything in-house. Young Posse is from a smaller company, but under the umbrella of RBW Entertainment (which houses bigger groups like Mamamoo and Purple Kiss). As it stands right now, Young Posse is getting a good deal of attention largely due to XXL and they've even outshined their label-mates Purple Kiss' latest comeback (which was release around the same time as Young Posse's). So XXL has been huge for them. BUT keep your expectations down. The girl-group field right now is over saturated so what's popular one day is forgotten the next. If Young Posse can continue this momentum they'll be okay, but they have A LOT of competition, especially with the freshly debuted groups. Right now, I'd say the one to beat who are in Young Posse's field is KIss of Life. Out of the rookies, these two really stand out above the others, and people have noticed (especially internationally). They have a climb to go, so I wouldn't expect to see them mentioned in the same breath as massive groups like Blackpink, TWICE, or NewJeans. Not yet anyway. Anything is possible, but Young Posse's sound is so niche that Korea probably wouldn't allow it.

The important melody part of this song is a famous song by the group (Taiji Boys), who was the founder of South Korean Kpop and the cultural president. The song title is: 'Come Back Home'. Please watch the music video and post a reaction video.

The Young Posse It is a K-POP girl group of RBW label. 'K-POP Vocal Queen ~ Girl Group' called <MAMAMOO> I'm with RBW. There are two entertainment companies on the RBW label. "DSP" and "WM" In DPS < Kara > < KARD > < Young Posse > is included. YOUNG Posse is the youngest girl group. <WM> belongs to < OMG: Ohmy Girl> <ONF: On and Off> < B1A4 > And Chae Yeon Lee. DSP was an entertainment company that led the first generation K-POP. At one time, SM Entertainment and rival. WM was also a talented entertainment company. RBW with "Mamamoo" grows DPS and WM.

The 8080808 in the lyrics is a reference to the Roland TR-808 drum machine, which was hugely popular, really ubiquitous in 80's and 90s . Brett may know of an old group called 808 State, same reference. If you've listened to any hip hop, dance or electronica in the past 35 years you've heard an 808 thousands of times.

Thanks for your Young Posse reaction (and as a sidenote, shoutout to your XG mention); as a really new group, the videography is still limited, but they are working on it. Besides their debut Macaroni Cheese (also directed by Ben Proulx, so you know what to expect 😂), there is an MV of the track Young Posse Up (remix); if you want to know how XXL sounds with live vocals, I may refer you to the version they made on the Dingo Freestyle channel. Fire. Then, some four days ago, on a channel named blip, Young Posse released a medley of three cover tracks ... no insane CGId MV, simple set, just them ... and 8 minutes of triple fire. And just a few hours ago, also on blip, they released a performance video of one of the B-sides from the current album, Scar. Again, fire. As for the distinct differences between rappers and vocalists in K-Pop, with Young Posse these are very blurred - the singers rap, the rappers sing. And the "leader" position usually gets the one chosen for this role not much except a whole bunch of additional responsibilites and duties, and that's it - completely different than from, say, Beyoncé having been leader of Destiny's Child. Final comment ... the complete Xypher from XG is still worth another reaction ;-)
