This is a nightmare for our South Africa. It's so easy to bring anything into our lovely country. We sure have to learn from Sydney Australia how to stop and search everything from top to bottom.

Depends on where you from. They know when to tighten up security and its based on people boarding

Strange, when I was there in 2016, there were way too many officers. With machine guns and hunting dogs and there were around 5 or 6 officers with scanning machines in the arrivals area. I was coming in from London as well

If you have a job in that place no one can tell you anything about productivity because you're entitled to the job. No one really works especially in those jobs. Hence the planes get robbed of 24 million and no one knows a thing

When you are on the flight to South Africa is there a customs declaration to fill out? I saw the pilot in the video I don't iff it was your pilot.

Surely it can't still be that way, can it? Especially with what just happened in Brussels, I know many international airports tightened their security even further. I'm coming to Johannesburg in August and this is a trip to watch!

They seem to profile based on your characteristics or pick based on amount of luggage and ppl you are travel with. If you travel light, they wont bother.
