(german) Moor = marsh/swamp/peat (english) moor = Mohr (german) the 'swamp soldiers' were forced laborers (usually political 'enemies' of the nazis) during the third reich living in labor camps and forced to collect peat in the swamps. in the nazi propaganda practically everybody (at least men) was declared a 'soldier' - whether they actually were soldiers or not. there even were ridiculous parades of workers 'presenting their spades' (like soldiers do with their rifles).

Yes in my opinion if you dont mind me saying so everything that Samara Morgan thought about in her mind when she was human she put it inside a blank videotape thats how it was recorded. Really some weird unexplained things like the mouth inside the videotape , impaled finger,and Anna Morgan staring at the viewer really spooked me lol. I still look at my tv on the side of my bed and see if it comes on hearing that creepy static sound lol. 30 year old man now still scared of this videotape. Lol 😂
