The first thing I focused on when I bought my 98 GT Atlantic Blue Metallic in 2015 for 4K was to lower it. Stock looks like you're driving a 4X4. Hideous. Since I was under the car anyway, I replaced pretty much every bushing and bearing, front and rear wheel bearings, struts and shocks and everything else in the process. Flushed the coolant system and replaced the radiator and water pump, intake manifold, coils, plugs and plug wires. Had the tranny rebuilt, differential bearings replaced and dropped the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump myself. My thinking is, just replace everything you can so it won't leave you stranded on the side of the road. At the time I bought it, it was already 17 years old. Forward to 11/2024 and at 155,000 miles, it's still a daily driver. The paint on the fenders we sun bleached, as it was a California car originally so, I decided to rattle can the top half of the car and thought, while I'm at it, I might as well put some 8 inch, white, racing stripes on it as well. It's all clear coated and ready for wet sanding this Spring. I named her Christine because my wife hates that I spend so much effort on this beauty!

Hell yeah a 5.0 SN95!

I just bought a sn95 that's carbed swapped with efi pump and he turned regulator down. I believe a Holley red or blue or aeromotive SS carbed fuel pump would work better. Then efi and carb stuff work at different fuel pressures. I liked this video other wize, I'm in S GA. I also agree 💯 on a street car would have to have a Vic Jr or Air gap. With a 2" spacer if you got hood clearance.. To get the most out of the deal.

How is that radiator holding up, seems reviews are all over the spectrum

The e-cam is the best of them all. It works really well its lobe separation is in a great spot for carb at 110. Its lift is not that high. But ot seems to work better than the Mighty B-cam every were for making power. If your looking for a really good all around cam that works well and sounds great. Lunati 5014 it was a great cam for n/a and blower 500/510 lift . Its was like a hyped F cam with tighter LSA and very similar to tfs 1. But sounded better at idile

Just picked up a 96 gt needs a clutch and heater core. Gonna put in a new radio and some bolt ons, exhaust headlights and needs window regulator

Two things FIRST. Put some 15" wheels and real tires on it. Then put a carbureted OHV engine in it. Then you will at least have a good base on which to build something.

What gear ratio are you running in the rear end?, what transmission, and what heads cam intake, headers and fuel pump? Is the holley sniper worth the money or should i stick with a carburetor i already have a 650 double pumper in my 94 gt

Buying a used gen2 coyote will give you 450 hp with room to grow as well… it only goes for 3-5k most times. And it fits pretty dead on. Don’t even need to replace the drive shaft!!!
