Everybody that watches this movie 1:02:42 needs to read the book “ destined to die young”, which tells of all the intermarriages Elvis‘s previous relatives over the years had had and how it had damaged their DNA. Elvis‘s mother died at 46, he died at 42, Lisa Marie died 54. The intermarriages caused a twist in their DNA that caused them to have various things wrong with them and diseases which they could not detect back then. Elvis was in pain yes but not from pills, he was in pain from being very very ill! Just read this book. I am so sick of his slackies telling the tales of the past they tell when yes that may be part of it but there is more than just Elvis as a druggie, he was not! That is what is so sad. He took what the doctors knew then to give him for his different conditions. Just read about it. The book is called “Destined to Die Young” and it explains Elvis‘s history with his Relatives that went way back who married cousin after cousin after cousin.

I don’t think Barbara believed Givens at all. Givens contradicted herself so many times during that interview and anyone could see she was just lying. Givens knew from start Mike was anti drug so her excuse to get out with all that money was he take drugs or she’s leaving. Mike isn’t dumb, that’s why he let her leave and take her lil 10m. Mike knew she didn’t love him but he was looking for love and just accepted it. Mike had already gave his side to Walter’s (that’s why Walters interviewed him first) so he didn’t have to say anything or defend himself. Mike is no dummy.
