I got confused when it says who plays first. It's the last that made groceries in real life. And the discount token is not very clear on how to use it.

Using a soon to be complete set of Rory's cubes with Untold to have semi-weekly sessions of RPG play with my 8 and 10 year old. This is arguably years best first step I could think of. We have lots of fun being creative and thinking "outside-the-box".

I picked this up in a charity shop with cards still wrapped in cellophane and I'm bringing it to Geekstraveganza on Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to giving it a spin.

When i see reviews and play guide videos the buildings are mostly just piles of pieces in their sides, not the elegant structures that you show built up on their edges. Are those players breaking rules or doing something wrong / suboptimal?

Hi, I've created a fan wiki for your game! I really like it. I was wondering, where can I find the artwork for the cards? I want to add them to the wiki to make the pages for the cards feel more complete.

If a player plays all 5 tiles do they get to draw more tiles?
@rorydoconnor Жыл бұрын
No. You can play as many tiles as you have in your hand to play. The exception would be if you played a Raven which allows you to draw a tile. Then you can also play any tiles drawn.

Awesome video clip that explains perfectly how to play the game and create the cards. I picked up a couple of packs of this game while Xmas shopping in England to play with my language students in Brazil I think they are going to have a lot of fun with this😀

This looks very fun, unfortunately not the kind of game you'd buy when you have a cat who loves to jump on the table when you play. 😅

I just picked up the game and I'm eager to dive in for solo play! One question: Is there a link or somewhere for me to obtain Character Profile and Episode Guide sheets to print out when I inevitably run out of the ones included? Also, the website you provided is no longer valid, and the only link I've been able to find is for an Instagram page (which I don't use). Any alternatives?

Hope someone can help with this question! Everything is making sense except for one crutial detail; when selling to an adventurer / making an offer, the winner is decided by quality stars? How does the cost of each stock come into play? In the rulebook it states an adventurer cannot spend more then they have, yet a winning bid's total may be more expensive then an adventurer can afford, and yet they still buy them for whatever they have in their pocket? That doesnt make sense Like, if my winning bid's price total is 12, but the adventurer only has 8 coins to spend, how does that adventurer still buy my winning bid if they can't afford it? :S Any help is appreciated!
@reliantsoap1232 Жыл бұрын
the adventurer will buy all of your stock that you’re selling (in this example worth 12) but they will only pay 8 gold for it all! pretty good deal for the adventurer ;D sorry the answer came so late but hope this helps :)

I just discovered this game recently and ordered it. This is fun for all ages. I also ordered the Journey, Fantasia and Heroes sets of cubes and what I do I throw them all in a bag with the originals and pick 9 out each episode/game we play. Keeps everything fresh and random.

Recently picked up this game and it's amazing! It's great that you can make any genre of story but is there a possibility to see theme expansions in the future? With fantasy, sci fi, horror etc themed cards, dice and other add on material? Thank you so much for releasing this game! Solved all my solo rpg wishes!

Played this game for the first time yesterday. It went down so well with my guests and was the best Christmas present I received this year. This game was so entertaining and different and getting to manually build a city was so fun. We found ourselves carrying on building fun structures after the game was over just casually. I tried to make all my cities be the same material just because it looked nicer (and good for the bonus point!) As a city building game this was perfect as we actually got to build a city and found ourselves nervous when moving to add to the city (some fell which resulted in jeers!). Thank you to the developers for a really fun evening, we’re looking to do it again soon!

This game is way too convoluted and complicated just for the sake of it. The only reason it takes so long to play is because you spend 80% of the time looking up stuff in the rulebook, which still does not explain enough to cover each situation. Would not recommend.
@Oogasra3 жыл бұрын
You want convoluted? Play Terra Mystica. The rulebook is bigger and more convoluted.

Just played this game yesterday for the first time. Took a little getting used to, maybe 20mins. Def not convoluted lol. This is one of the more easier deck builder. 100% would recommend. As a matter of fact, i liked the game so much I just ordered it on Amazon. Now of only I could find out what size sleeves I need.

Mhm... after playing an episode... It's very difficult for me to call it a game. Actually I think it's more like a tool for coming storywriters that want to learn something about structure. My girlfriend is a teacher for narrative game design and she will use it next semester. And as a Game Designer (myself) it feels more like work than an actual game. I like it and I don't at the same time. I like it as an educational tool, but it bored me to death as a game. Sorry, I really wanted to love it... I'm actually really frustrated because the quality of the gaming pieces and the box is overall super satisfying my inner neurotic gets drooling every time I open the box... I played it just once but I opened the box maybe twenty times. Wow!

Hey hub games... I am in LOVE with this game. It's really unique form the rest of the board games. So, I wanna suggest you to make an another board game like this. For ex: Holding on the troubled life of Andrew Scott. The rules will be basically same but the hospital and the story will be a bit more challenging and complicated...
