This channel is great! Hope it grows. I like the no-nonsense, concise content. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for a well-paced and concise video. It’s rare. Others go for long videos just to get more advert time. This was helpful and just what I wanted, thanks from UK. Subbed. Happy flying.

How do I know which runway I'm at? Also, how do I know my departure code (Ex.: AMVU4A) and my "trans" code? (Ex.: NUXEL).

I never fly this aircraft because when I set the payload, it distributes things equally and then my center of gravity is always out. I don't got all day to play with payload numbers trying to get this thing inside the COG. The Asobo payload manager sucks big time.

Too late for the video, but SHTNR is pronounced SHATNER, as in William. 😄

I know how to do it, I just can't operate the keypad. Idk why but I'm so bad at it and just sit there staring at it for like 20 minutes, then just give up.

Ha! Bill Shatner gets a waypoint named after him.

That waypoint SHTNR has to be Shatner, like William Shatner, from Star Trek. Captain Kirk.

Hello, thank you for this video, I just discovered your channel, have you already covered the subject of adjusting the rudder? I find this to be the most complicated element to resolve. thank you for your excellent work. jeff from France

You showed the flight plan on the map but how can i jump from one waypoint to the next? In the A320 I can jump between waypoints and therefore can check the whole flight plan on the map.

If you keep the thing at Max power throughout the flight will you eventually get the "you have overstressed the aircraft" message or can you just rag it forever? Currently doing a world tour & the only way to visit the Seychelles is to use this to land & takeoff on the shortest runway ever (Fregate) as the main one doesn't exist in sim. A half hour flight from north Madagascar turns into 3+ using this and i obviously want to get it done as fast as possible.

Way too much power at take off. Just have a look at the red flashing N1 indicator. Engines would be damaged in real life.

Videos like this are awesome! Quick, to the point, and not trying to maximise "engagement time". It makes up for that by being such a great reference, I'll be coming back every time I want to program the CJ4

In the real world you will enter the route (flightplan) first an only then departure and arrival. Actually flightplans will never include departures and arrivals.

Many thanks for this video. Very few TBM sim landing videos out there. I get that this was a landing for dummies but Telluride may not be the best airport for dummies to learn landings! Suggestion for a future version if you would consider: Discuss speeds and altitudes for engaging the flaps. Discuss approach speeds and throttle settings. Maybe use a more typical, non-towered airport and do a traffic pattern entry. Straight-in landings are not typical for VRF even for a turbo prop. Lastly, tips on how to set up the proper glide slope either using a PAPI or some other method. Thanks!!

Good video, short and to the point!! When we start our planes we usually always turn strobe on 1st thing just so anyone in area knows we are fixing fire up the props.
