You can see the joy return to Pacey’s eyes the moment he sees Joey. Compare this to earlier in the episode, where he looks miserable and lost in life.

How wonderful is this story; one of my favorite films of this genre. The acting superb; Keitel's lectures on writing (like his Method Acting) inspirational; but, the dance between Jackson and Forlani exceptional beyond description. when I imagine dancing with a partner, light, carefree, carried on the winds of song, it is this scene that comes to mind. Bravo for uploading. Many thanks.

Every time I find/watch yet another deleted scene from the 2- part finale, it always so needs to be there for the whole story to come together. It is really too bad they filmed too much for the airtime of the episodes.... because these scenes were needed. and some characters actions just didn't even make sense with bits cut out of the edit

I come from rewatching the show, as an adult. I had seen the show numerous times before, I'm a huge fan since I was a teen. Having said that, Season 4 Joey/Pacey relationship is too problematic. Sure, they were teens but they fight most of the time out of Pacey's insecurities. Pacey tried way too hard to be what Joey expected him to be, he felt like he never lived up to her expectations (hence the breakup in 4x20 Promicide), but all along were his very own ideas of what her expectations were. Even in Season 6 when they sort of get back together, he still doesn't understand her. He sees her as an incredible woman who deserves everything in the world and did incredible amazing gestures for her, but I always felt like he did it to 1. Prove something 2. Outdo and win her over all her history with Dawson. Yes, Pacey and Joey are the relationship that made the most sense out of the triangle, but, in my opinion, it was not a great relationship. Joey, surprisingly fit much more with Eddie in Season 6, you could see her truly interested in him as she was devastated every time he left, not a good trait from Eddie or course, but she really tried and gave a lot with someone completely new.

This is my favorite episode of Season 5. It brings the gang fully together and the way they discuss Dawson and Jen’s new relationship was incredibly dramatic!

The Hi Def back in the day is awful. The interviewer is so robotic, she does not engage on his answers at all. Check Josh out in a show called Fringe…he is fantastic in that.

Thank goodness the show ended the way it did. Everyone feels like they ended up where they should, even though Jen’s ending is pretty tragic. But Jack’s fear of ending up alone is no longer a concern since he’s a father now with a serious boyfriend. Dougie is finally out of the closet. Joey got what she always wanted- the true love of her life with Pacey and the soulmate/friendship connection with Dawson. Dawson ended up doing what he always wanted and meeting his idol, and Pacey got the girl and ended up leaving Capeside to (I assume) open another restaurant in NYC. I always thought it was sweet he reopened the Icehouse in honor of Joey since her dad burned it down.

I love that they started the series as adversaries more than brothers and ended the series as brothers and friends. Season 1 Doug would NEVER have co-signed a loan for Pacey. It just goes to show the growing up they both did throughout the series

This commentary was crap. Andy was NEVER Pacey's consolation prize. They basically got rid of Andy and destroyed Pacey's best relationship to push this UNNECESSARY LOVE triangle storyline between Dawson/Joey/Pacey. They even edited out Andy's scenes with Pacey when the series finale aired. When I saw the deleted scenes with those two, I saw why they left out those scenes. Meredith Baxter and Joshua Jackson were AMAZING in those scenes and the chemistry of Pacey and Andy was oozing all through the screen and they didn't want to ruin their narrative of Pacey only loving Joey. Dawson was always supposed to be with Joey, it was setup that way since episode 1. And of course, James was going to be okay with it, what was he going to do anyway if he wasn't okay? By then they already rewrote the ending, so they weren't going to change it. Pacey WAS the consolation prize for Joey, which is why he never felt good enough for her, he NEVER felt like that with Andy. They put Joey and Pacey together not because of their supposed love story but because Joshua and Katie were the most popular people from the show. It's one of the WORST series finale.

Totally agree the series finale was a commercial sell out in my opinion. They really make it sound like Joey only loved Pacey and Pacey only loved Joey when in my opinion, Pacey and Joey were the most toxic relationship on the show it was always clear from day one that Joey loved Dawson and Dawson love Joey and Pacey‘s best relationship was with Andie hands-down.

@@ЮлияКузнецова-г3щ7о Yes Meredith Monroe came back for a scene and it was cut out. It was between her and Pacey. I watched it and you can still feel the love and chemistry between them. I find Joshua and Meredith to be more genuine. Meredith was only available for a day if she was available for longer then the out come would’ve been Pacey and Andie getting back together then Joey picking Dawson. That was the original ending plan.

@@dinozzo97 Where can I watch these episodes, wich was edited out? I agree that Pacey and Andy's relationship was real. But she was the first person who paid attention to him, who respected him, who showed him he was good, smart, worthy. It was kinda he had no choice whether to love her or not. Pay attention, he constantly told her how lucky he was, how grateful he was to her. This relationship was wonderful and very important. They were as important to Pacey and Andy as Joey and Dawson's relationships wete important for them. The problem with the script is not they put Pacey and Joey together. As for me it's ok. The problem is they just threw away a character who was extremely important for becoming Pacey, everyone's favorite. He wouldn't be the way we know him without Andy. The writers should show her up from time to time and balance this stupid annoying triangle where Pacey always looked like a loser. Sorry for my writing in English. I'm not a fluent speaker. Hope you could get what I ment.

And the triangle was turned into square. I am so infuriated what the fuck any of them saw in Joey. Every man/boy in the series fell his ass backwards in love with Joey, who was always bitchy and indecisive. Even in finale she has 3 guys pining for her - one of them, the best one really, she dumped him ugly for her college boyfriend. He is stupid that he is still pining for her. Had he learnt nothing from the first time? That shes always gonna love her soulmate more? And then there is Jen. She has no one. Father of her child has left, she is a single mom and what worst? She is on the verge of dying. Her death is used as a force behind Joey's final decision. Fuck that. Jen deserved better. Jen deserved to live and see Amy grow older. Jen deserved to have a happy family with a nice guy. Jen was the best amongst them and by a mile.
