I don't understand how to move a piece at MergeDown and separate it one at a time for scaling.
@brownbearanimation
@brownbearanimation 3 ай бұрын
For moving subtools in subtool list you can just directly click on it and drag at the required position in the subtool list than just use merge down to merge it with the below subtool. And For separating you can use masking with Ctrl key and scale the unmasked mesh. There are different ways, you can use Ctrl plus shift key to separate a poly grp and than separate it into different subtool, than scale it when it's a separate subtool, you can watch the power of Ctrl key video on the channel, it will clear out most of the things. I hope this helps.

Hi! Thank you so much for the free tutorial! This helped me make my first sculpt in Zbrush :) a couple things: 1. When making the bell, for some reason the Zremesher keept filling in the bell hole for some reason :( 2. Consequently, I couldn't really follow up with the Zmodeler part (the extrusion into the bell part) I'd love a video covering the Zmodeler brush!! Again, thank you very much!

Hi, do you know if it's possible to change color of the BACKFACE material? Sometimes I have a problem to see if there are any clipping mesh. In any 3D software, you can set blackface color, and easily see the clipping, but I can't find this option in ZBrush. Thank you.
@brownbearanimation
@brownbearanimation Жыл бұрын
For zbrush, I'm not sure. But for other 3d softwares it's possible. I will try to find out, if anything is there, then I will let you know. But the thing is zbrush is not a 3D software it's 2.5D, most of the things which are possible in any 3d software might not be possible with zbrush, that's my guess.

@@brownbearanimation Thank you so much. I was baking my HP few days ago, and I noticed few black spots, and as you already know, these black spots were in the place with clipping mesh. This is why I'm trying to find a way to change color of backface in ZBrush. Would be nice to know about errors before baking. Anyway, thank you for the answer. I was searching for few hours, and I think that you are right, and ZBrush does not have this possibility.
