@@builtmikesway1167 No problem. Just so people know: Most say not to use coarse steel wool, but the very tough enamel on auto glass will not scratch at all, particularly with a thin steel wool just like what you used. Looks like it worked great ;)

Howsit going? I'm trying to find what is the difference in the 32 spline that comes in a 241 and using that rather than purchasing the "special" adapter. I have a 32 spline xfer case from a 2500 that I will pull apart to see the difference but everyone who does this AWD conversion uses a special adapter from a vendor. Just wondering as one of the makers claims his adapter is made vice having a 32 "turned down" (lathed) which I think is probably him turning the 27 spline into a 32 with a mill. If I'm interpreting correctly, he claims by making the adapter rather than turning a 32 spline to fit the the NP149 is stronger.

@@JamesShuta actually the engine only had 2k miles on it, the person that put it together used the number 4 rod cap on the number one. So the clearance was wrong and ate that bearing. Number 4 was fine lol got a new one on order, thanks for watching and taken the time to comment. Happy Sunday

That C&L blower plenum is a collectors item now. Take a 4" holesaw and put a few holes into the lower half of that airbox.

Nicely done! It looks like you used Stiegemeier as a reference.In the future I would not try to shadow his porting because opening up the eaton on the bottom that much usually loses 20+ ft lbs of torque and you can definitely feel that on a truck.I would focus solely on opening up the inlet and you can still take ALOT more off than you did then just use silicone rtv for a gasket.You would want to cut the two ramps in the inlet that lead directly to the rotors down about 1/2 inch.If you want to open up the bottom a little use Jokerz or POSI for a reference.The inlet porting is really what makes the power the outlet is mainly opened for offseting the high air charge temps.When its done right its a 2-3psi increase

Experienced an aluminum battery box cover come off a crappy truck-drivers fault for not doing a pre-trip- bent my tie rod, 76 F-250 4x4, drove over it and seen the box slide into the ditch. Sped up and tried to acknowledge the stund Driver, who never did Piss all, phoned the company, and Nothing happened. After my shift, went and looked, battery box cover was gone, could still see all the marks. So Either the Trucking Company come and took it away, or some scrappers grabbed it. So glad I wasn't driving a car.
