dee was certainly intelligent but man the athleticism and overall coverage skills just were not there for him to be the compliment to revis he was supposed to be. doesn't excuse the lack of effort when he got to the jets, but man i think he just never had a chance to be a competent man corner regardless
No wonder he runs so much, he can’t pass too great

I was in the student section for this game. That game closing 50 yard TD by Hill made the stadium electric. If TJ Yeldon doesn't take in that screen later that season, LSU goes to SECG. If they win that, then they would've for sure beat Notre Dame in the Nati that year with what Bama did. TJ Yeldon, 1 play, potentially ruined a second Nati trip in a row by LSU that year.

More than a decade later, I still feel bad that Mettenberger never got to beat Bama. No one deserved it more for how he performed in game. Whether it was the defense, his receivers, or his line, someone always let him down. Damn.

All he needed was guidance. A lot of times coaches forget that these athletes are just kids. 90 of the world made worst decisions than manziel at 21 years old

What a waste of pure talent and ability. Wish he would’ve found a way to keep it together in the pros and his personal life. Happy to see he’s starting to have some clarity in his life. In regard to the game, you can’t help but feel for a Quarterback that’s trying to beat a team like Alabama knowing they can’t rely on their kicker. What an absolute dog in that game.

I was at this one.. it was a landmark game because everyone was excited about Dooley and his orange pants, but we were playing butch jones Cincinnati team who would finish the year strong in their conference. And we went on to hire butch!! Lol 😂 da Rick Rogers and hunter were a great duo WR threat even though we were in the slump years of tennessee.

Man Isaiah Crowell was a must see talent . And to be honest he got caught up with some guns . Or whatever . I mean damn who really cares . He was the sec freshman of the year . Our pass game was at an all time low . Technically , Hell these days you would be considered a sucker for not always keeping guns in reach . Bro Crowell ran for a unbelievably high number of rushing yards in high school . I was pissed that mark richt didnt have better control of the football program and I felt he let down the whole university by letting Crowell get mixed up in all that petty gun possession nonsense .. He mishandled Todd Gurley and prolly cost him a knee and atleast 20 million more in football earning. And I remember how they did a.j green . All them damn games missed for dumb ass suspensions . Hell it wasn’t even the NCAA that enforced suspension it was UGA. . He was hands down the best wr in the nation that year .

If he could have been locked up only getting let out and taken to practice and games. he'd still be in Cleveland or better. Johnny went further and higher than I've done and he is human. A partying human no doubt. Like I would tell my primadonna co- workers about my pre work life. " Yea , I raised a little Hell so what" ??
