Gotta be honest: Engineering-wise, this was a phenomenal effort. Operations-wise, 4 out of 10. Dropping the telemetry/avionics feed was a major misstep. As a veteran space operator, checking telemetry was the first thing we did once on the pad, and the last thing we did before launch. Was there a go-no/go checklist here? A launch director? On the plus side, this is a mistake none of them will ever make again!

This movie is so sick. The fact that it took like eight years to make or something is crazy. I’ve watched it like multiple times and I just love it every single time.

Very good! My Son and I built a Rocket and launched it at Lucerne Valley Ca. in 1998 and got to 53 Miles, a little trouble with the parachute and the Rocket was almost completely destroyed, and my son was still in Jr. high or middle school and he has designed it and helped build it with the help of myself and a friend that had been in rocketry for a few years! So, I have convinced him to try it again now that he is 40, runs his own computer design company, and works for Juniper Systems. So, with just us and if we can find some help we hope to do this, but with all the modern computer programs that he did himself last time when he was 15! This is a great thing to do! When I see a bunch of college students, I'm assuming with grant money, do this, it makes me want to show everyone what can be done with a few dedicated people and 1 exceptionally brilliant one!

I saw this video 4 years ago when I was in 9th class, and watching this and barely understanding anything I was like, this is soo cool !! Fast forward to 2024 now that I am a fresher in college and a member of the embedded flight software team of our college's space tech club. Watching this video again understanding everything feels like a dream come true. It's just the beginning for me, our club has partnership with the isro and we'll launch a cansat on pslv in december. Then we freshers have an upcoming weather balloon project. Someday I hope we build our own propulsion systems and model rockets that can reach space too !!
