Since you lowered the footpegs, did you also lower the brake pedal and the shift lever?

Thanks for the video,had knee replacement and need to lower pegs,i cant bend 90 degrees ,how much lower does it go from stock position,thank you.
@ADVCityGuy4 жыл бұрын
James Wenzel Hi I can’t remember how much degrees it drops. It didn’t seem much but at first but you do notice it when riding. You might have issues, if you use the lowest one, with the brake lever. I couldn’t adjust it to get my foot position correct. So I ended up with the middle position & it worked fine for me.

Greetings from England, I hope you're all safe and well. Nice shield, great job! Are your footpegs the BMW spring-loaded ones? I've got them and they are destroying my Sidi Adventure boots... My first pair lasted 7 years and I've only done 2 years with my current pair... already a hole in my left one! Gutted. Anyway, ride safe.

Nice explanations. Thank you. How do you know which wires from the relay are for right versus left lights?? Asking cuz the Clearwater Canopener can flash left or right lights alternating with turn signals.

Great Video - Question - do these pegs allow you to adjust the right hand peg to the same level as the left hand peg - as many of you will know the standard right hand peg is higher than the left - would be good to know if the range is such that you can get them both at the same ride height?

Awesome job your son has done with the heat shield. Simple and right to the point installation. I sent an email inquiring about how I might be able to have one built for the almost the same bike, as I have the 2018 GSA

Clearwater’s are top shelf. Quality through and through. Fit & finish is superior with it’s CNC product. No doubt about it. If safety is your objective, as it should be, then you made the right purchase with Clearwater. Looking good! Ride safe.

You should be able to drill out the weld to remove the baffle. I have the same pipe on my GS but, I’m in SC so it doesn’t have the welded in baffle. So much deeper with it removed. Also remove the wire inside the cables controlling the flapper valve but keep in actual valve and actuator installed.

So in another video you showed that your son made a heat shield for this setup. How can one get in contact with him to maybe have one made. I have the R1200gs, not the adventure. By the way thanks for your videos have enjoyed several!

I have a 2016 BMW s1000RR. I followed your instruction, removed my factory horn and now my horn won't turn off. Even with my bike turned completely off the horn goes off the minute i plug it in? Do you have any suggestions?

8 minutes of you trying to zip tie a relay to a frame. And dismantling half your bike. TIP: don’t take anything off, look up the front of your bike and you’ll see that same bar. Run your zip tie without the relay through the frame and fasten one click. Next place your relay between the zip ties and hold in place with one hand while maneuvering the zip ties in place over the relay with the other. Then tighten zip ties with one hand while holding the relay with the other. 5min part of the job tops.
@200xcBruce6 жыл бұрын
You can save so much work if you just use a hanger wire and fish wires front to back. Also you shouldn't tighten a zip tie as much as you do. I would install with little or no need to remove all that. But to each his own.
