@craftsmancrusher207 yes, off road mower, BUT this build is more focused towards higher speed atv park type. Whereas the sears is slow speed more for bare den (tight intricate trails).

You did a good job of cleaning it up...unfortunately Your weld is worse then the previous weld, you had found it's been three years since you made this video.....Question: are you any better at welding? you have the gear watch some videos..... and learn to work it better you have no excuse....good luck.... i have the same door issue except i leaned on mine and tore the top hing away from post... i have a stick welder but im certified so hopefully i can puddle and move the weld, i ordered special rod 6013 - 3.32 & 1/16 rod for thin work, i do not want to pull that fender off....Daww! wish i had miller wire feed but i do not any more.

I am still learning, im getting a stick welder here soon, my issue is im only working with an 80 amp flux welder, and my power supply is not rated for welding. BUT here recently put a smaller wire in (went from a .35 to a .30) and im impressed! Still doing my same techniques, but a lot cleaner weld! A lot less spatter and bubblegum crap! Im by no means perfect, really a beginner and most, but practice makes perfect right? Im investing in a generator just for welding until i can get proper electrical! Tired of tripping breakers in the middle of a weld!

@@GearheadsGarage336 Well the stick is what i will use, i will use stick from Amazon Weldcote Metals E 6013 Welding Rod 3/32 & Hobart H117119-RDP 6013 Stick Welding Electrode, 1/16-Inch & 40 amps, im just worried that the beam is thin and once trick others have tought me is to add material like a new bolt or flat bar piece to your top part of the hinge will be welled to the flat bar that is 2" wide and the you weld in a who new area above the previous rusted / ripped up area but have the same strength and a real nice flat area to do a real nice back & forth slow penetration pattern, there are some good welders on KZbin i watch them and i welded for living.

so i have all the torx off and my top hinge because i leaned on the door pulling the hinge out a bit... and did not immediately repair! so it ripped more not it off..DAWWWW, so the engine mud liner above the wheel, do i need to take any screws out i have not? i just want to pull it back near the hinge 5 " to, can you recall is this possible? i just want it to come towards me...

So although I agree with you about the budget thing to get started or help someone out, I would save or spend just a little more and buy Tekton or Gearwrench or even some used quality tools. I know not everyone is in the position to do so. I'm currently upgrading my Kobalt tools. Been buying ALOT of Tekton & Gearwrench and some Cornwell here and there when they have something on sale. your glove box lock has 2 tabs on the sides,, are those are springy tabs or fixed tabs,, i having problems with my glovebox lock,,are those tabs suppost to be pushed to open the glove box?
@GearheadsGarage336
@GearheadsGarage336 Жыл бұрын
Yes the black tabs on the sides are spring-loaded, which when depressed pulls back the metal tabs that are the actual lock, and allow you to open the box. Which mine worked but when i originally bought the Jeep, it never came with the separate key for the box so i had to literally rip it open and replace the lock.
