i’m stuck with triangular darts in eva foam, i use popsticle sticks to apply and it’s quite difficult to keep the two wet surfaces from touching eachother any suggestions?

Removable foam is such a great idea thanks !!! But if I do just the front one, will it still hold tight ? Or does it hold because of the back elastic too ?

That paint looks like real gunmetal, but I think just flat black eould have been better, I picture the gun being made of mostly polymer if it was real.

Definitely based on the FIM-92 Stinger Shoulder Fired Missile Launcher, the cylinder in front of the trigger is the Battery Coolant Unit BCU.

When it comes to wearing a full head mask or a helmet your head tends to look big. I've noticed widening the shoulders makes your head look more proportional. Are you planning on widening your shoulders for the feral ghoul project? Maybe boney shoulders?
@EvilTedSmith14 күн бұрын
I don't plan on making the head that big. Keeping it very low profile when building it.

You seal the helmet with creaturecast rubber! I ventured into neoprene rubber because of its water solutible Assets, when i found it as a rubber cement. Now i use it to kned into foamclay so it will keep some flex when drying. I also find use it as a base for acrylic colour's when airbrushing. But you still use regular acetone based contact cement, for glueing parts together - don't you?! Could you maybe in a video dig into the pro and cons of the two. I can't have the range of shore A values the creaturecast provided by the local garden bassin glue provider in Denmark. And with the import tax of American goods, it's not an option to get the real stuff. Anyways it could be nice if you could dig in on these substances and get hold on the providers. I would like to know if its possible to have a foam clay that would keep a flex when dryed that could eventually replace foamlatex! Anyways - try to mix some foamclay with neoprene and look for yourself it's at least as good as your filler for instance. I roll out my own thickness of foam clay with neoprene, cut out the pieces that I need and vacuum seal the leftovers, for reuse. It acts as evafoam. When mixed with neoprene. Loved the way you jolted Adam savage with the egg. 😊
