Hi Rachael, My dad passed away when i was 30 and my mum when I was 35, luckily enough not around Christmas. Its the sort of thing thats always there but time is a great healer, then you think back to the Christmases you spent with them and the happiness, I was the only child so I have no idea what it is like to share with siblings, does it make it easier or harder, I had no one to grieve with. Anyway Rachel, happy new year hun x

I know how hard it is for you all Rachel. I hope she's looking down on you keeping an eye on you all. I lost my Dad suddenly too in May 2023, and I know exactly how your feeling. I still expect him to phone me, or when I visit, be there in his shed or in the garden. Life can be so cruel. As I said earlier. I miss your mum so much. I knew her, from when we were at Browies together and then when we were at Senior School together. Please take care and all my love. Remember I'm here for you. A loss of a parent is hard ive lost both of mine you sometimes think you parents will never die evan to this day i wish i could just pick up the phone and speak to them i lost both a year apart both in December my mum on the 19th and my dad on the 24th its something you never get over
