Nice discussion but it is not enough to test mode/system test but you should check controller service classes! because they force to design your coding.

Jeremy Evans is an international treasure! Thank you for giving us Roda and Sequel 🙏 As someone who has made millions from a Rails based SaaS app over the last 14 years (starting with Rails 2), I wish we would've developed our initial iteration using Roda because long term maintainability of Roda dwarfs that of Rails. Having to upgrade Rails every 2 years was not easy! We switched over to Roda in 2013 and never looked back.

Roda is superior to Rails and Sinatra, I've been using it in production for many years, Roda is more complex than Sinatra, has less ready-made gems/plugins than Rails, but the speed/performance is much greater, totally recommended.

【English】I like Roda because it's very concise, natural, readable, and clear compared to Rails. I can add functionality as I like, rather than having Rails already contain a lot of stuff I don't need. It's also more flexible than Sinatra, especially in terms of routing.

If Roda is 4th most popular, and Rails & Sinatra are 1st and 2nd ...what is 3rd? Hanami?

I don't disagree with him at 100% but TDD is a big "tool" to increase the quality of the software you are delivering, among other things I'd not bother mentioning.

6 months ago when I started working in interactions, which were not like these but different private gem of some people, it feel very difficult to do them, but when I have done few of them, I found it is much easier to programme using these interaction, have not used these context but our one uses Input/Output and actions. Thanks for nice discussion.
