Genius tip with the plastic straws! I wasted 20 minutes figuring out how to remove the plastic stars (because I want to paint them black from their insides, because of reasons…). Alas … living in Germany makes it hard to find classic plastic straws, as they were forbidden by law some years ago (in an attempt to reduce waste; a futile attempt imho, as there could be much more done with reducing the daily waste from packaging blisters for example, but that‘s the EU or Germany: just smoke and mirrors). I knew it would have been good to keep some classic straws in storage. Damn.

flip the dremel bit so the curved side is against the tips of the stars, easier push/pull.

How to tell if resettable fuse is broken? Cause I can push the button
@tannerwalters27568 ай бұрын
Yes, the resettable fuse will pop the reset button up to show the “fuse” is blown. After 30 seconds, it will allow you to reset the fuse breaker and test again.

Good stuff! This answered most of my questions. It would have been helpful to have chapter headings so I could jump around as I was coming back to double check things. Also, this doesn't say what to do if the existing cord does not have different conductors, so I was puzzled. (What I was told: put the hot side such that the fuse is the first thing in the circuit.) But overall I'm very happy with the kit, and feel safer with this installed.

@@chuckufarley5884 Here is my ad listing. It’s been fully gone through. 🥊 🔔Punchy (Chicago Coin, 1950) Pinball Machine 🔔 🥊 The aim of the game is to knock out Punchy by hitting the P-U-N-C-H-Y targets at the top of the playfield. You can also score many points by hitting the pop bumpers and other playfield targets. Lastly, you can hit the bottom pop bumpers at the lower playfield to audibly hear the boxers boxing it out for a chance to hit the ball back up into play, or skillfully nudge into the kick out for 500,000 points. It is currently set for accepting nickels to play but can easily be set up for free play. The entire game has been gone through and is fully working. Here is what’s been done: -Brand New Electrical Cord (Grounded Transformer, Plunger, and Coin Accepter) -Insulated flipper buttons -Brand New Balls -Warm-white LEDs Throughout -Cleaned and Waxed Playfield -Cabinet is cleaned inside and out -The cabinet was repainted with scans of the original artwork! -Brand New Leg Levers Installed -Every stepper disassembled, cleaned, and put back together -All relays are cleaned and burnished. -All jones plugs (male and female) cleaned and ensured they maintain a strong connection. -Brand New Playfield Rubbers Installed Located in my garage (Lakeville, Minnesota) for easy loading. I’m happy to work with the buyer to ship the pin, or I can deliver it directly to you for an added fee. Trades for working or non-working machines are also acceptable. Do you have an old pin you don’t want? We buy pins as well! First come, first serve. Cash is preferred. I’ll remove this ad once it is sold. You can check out my Website or Instagram to see my other work and restorations: ThePinballScientist.com or @ThePinballScientist **FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS** Q: Can it be taken a part so I can fit it in my car? A: Yes! The backbox can be folded down easily and strapped to the cabinet or taken off completely. The legs can be removed with 2 bolts on each leg. Once it is disassembled, the pinball machine can easily be carried or moved with a dolly. Q: If something does need replacement, are parts available to be bought? A: Yes! There are multiple sites that sell parts for nearly any pinball machine at reasonable prices and fast shipping. You can also contact me if you’d like parts. I’m happy to help. Located in Lakeville, MN.
