I wish Nathalie Krieg had been invited to a few World Pro competitions back in those days. Dick Button is a great admirer of good spinners, so it's a bit surprising that he never invited Krieg to one of his events.

I can only speak for myself, but I'd have been happy if she never even did one jump. Her grace and poise was so beautiful- and of course her spins were simply magical. I don't know if I ever saw a program of hers that didn't leave me feeling joyous. And her smile and she traveled across the ice was so peaceful... I just loved watching her. Lucinda is probably one of the most gifted skaters that we've ever seen Her positions and extensions are exquisite They have been critical about her jumping ability and yes it wasn't her strong point But her pure skating skills go unmatched And that's what skating is all about not just about the jumps You can have these new skaters that are out there that are 15 16 years old that can do triple triples till the cows come home But can leave you feeling empty after a performance Because there was no feeling Where when Lucinda hits the ice emotes so deepyl and purely and extends that to her audience where everybody gets it it's a major gift to all of us

It's a shame that so much value is given to jumps. Her ice skating is exquisite. Her artistry should have landed her some championships.

Does she really has the record for the fastest spin?, i mean i read that and her spins are pretty fast but i dont see her to be the fastest spinner.

Wow. Absolutely hypnotising - she's so graceful and skilled! It is strange though to note how, as soon as she is airborne for a jump, all the composure and assurance seems to go in a flash and it's almost like a different skater. Nonetheless nobody spins like this. That attitude spin at the end... magical.

Thanks for your post. Lucinda is mesmerizing. She and Denise Bielleman (sorry if I misspelled) are two underrated figure skaters but have left indelible mark in skating. This music and her elegance along with the spins I consider true art.

I can watch Lucinda skate all day long.
