This does not rival the 440i and s5. It is more expensive; the price rivals the M4 and RS5, but the performance is worse. A bit of a shame really, because it’s a beautiful car.

The answer is NO... the cx-70 is just a cx-90 minus 3rd row.. why they spent the money on tooling, part numbers, etc. just to make a new model is beyond any of us. The CX-70 should have been smaller then the 90 but bigger then the cx-50 and be at least 500lbs lighter it would have given a MDX type S a run for the money. Also it would be quicker then Kia, Hyundia, and the like.. Hey Mazda next time you make a new model do some market research :(
