I celebrated my 56th birthday yesterday (14th May 2024) and trying to figure out how to start all over again after being out of employment for 5 years now. No job, no savings and deep in debt You have given me hope and I will listen to the message again and possibly reach out to you by email. Thanks for the encouragement.

It can be frustrating, scary and exhausting to keep our head above the water line...and even harder to trust that there is something larger calling out to us. Throughout my life, it has been those most challenging times that I have found new depths to my intuition, as well as my internal power and self worth. You are in a spectacular decade of life-and due to your circumstances-a complete rebirth of your life. Watch for your signs and trust that a beautiful path is trying to unfold for you. ❤

Hi Erin! Just saw this on KZbin……Amazing how you continually reinvent yourself into such an extraordinary human being….As you know, I left a 30 year marriage and moved entirely across the country to live near my brother in 1993. Since he passed away last June, I have been doing a lot of soul searching. I turned 81 last December and wonder with amazement how I handled so many challenges and obstacles in my life and am fortunate to have survived them all. You have been in my life since 2016 when I took an online workshop from you…..Your remarkable, awe-inspiring presence is a gift that I am truly blessed to have in my life as well as so many others. Can’t wait to hear about your continuing journey my dear friend…❤

@@erinlmatlock A fabulous TV show? ...........A comedy or a tragedy? 🙂 🙂 Actually, when I moved to CA from CT, I had no idea how my life would turn out... I just knew I had to leave... And, as it turns out, I never could have dreamed just how magical it is. Hard work...yes... but having women in my life LIKE YOU has made all the difference.

Boy oh boy! I wish I had heard this list in my 20's. The one that really gets me is when people think they are "too old" after cancer I went back to dance at 60. I will not stop dancing. Also I heard somewhere that many people have their most productive years between 60 -80 yrs. Looking forward to your next video.

I left the father of my kids (23 n 25) at the age of 46. I’m 48 now. 30 years gone to waste. Tryna forgive myself for having stayed so so long. I started over two years ago, but feel like I’ve gotten nowhere cuz sometimes depression gets the best of me. Still healing..😢 can’t imagine turning 50 and still stuck in this rut.

We are hardest on ourselves, aren't we? That forgiveness is key to freeing yourself from the grips of the past, but it's also a practice that takes a lifetime of repetition. I bet if we take a look at these past couple of years-even though it feels slow-we'd see you've come a great way since summoning the courage to leave. And this next stretch, before you hit 50, will open some very special doors. That depression will make it tough to see them (I know this well), but trust that they are there. There's another half a century waiting for you on the other side. ❤️

I loved the video. Met you a couple times in Scottsdale ; saw you speak with Christina R. Your book has been on my office shelf since 2018. Best wishes on your move to TX. I moved to AZ and have been trying to start over since I was widowed. You are an inspiration!

Erin this is so beautiful and so amazing ! Being with you every walk of this more than anything hit close! As well know I too turned 50 in the fall and as life was seeiming to Crumble I picked up and made a decision to turn everything around! From drinking to friendships to family and now 102 days into a new life a new beginning I have so much peace and so much calm. Relationships are being mended, I’m being the parent I want to be and the most of all the spouse I once was’ ! Thank you for being you and thank you for your continuous support and motivation! ❤️

Hi Erin! I love your message. Age doesn't exist, it's just the number of times we've been blessed to circle the sun. I refuse to buy into "what" i should be like at 62, yup!! Crazy!! And after my cancer battle and losing my mom is a second I changed a lot. I've been studying dance again for almost 2 yrs. Dance it my LOVE! Funny your email found me today, I'm in the middle of changing my business model. I woke up burnt out and said I'm done. I've followed you since 2017. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Enjoy your parents and your time close to them. Memories keep me pushing forward. Hugs!!!
