Thank you for the observations about the ABA school. ABA is still practiced and taught in my country as well (including at the university where I work!) and while the discussions are happening, it is taking far too long. ABA does not change autistic kids, it just forces them to mask, which leads to exhaustion and burnout. Chris is absolutely right about the physical environment of that school as well, it is clearly not designed with autistic sensory sensitivities in mind! And all of that forced touching, talking right in their faces, I would absolutely meltdown and/or shutdown, no question.

This is why parenting is not just about bringing a human to this world. You are responsible for every decision they take in life. I watch a lot of docos in this genre; but this documentary portrayed the most balanced argument of pros and cons re: the alien presence on our planet. It explained what we know and what we don't know. It was well-evidenced with HQ video and medical footage and scientifically approached with well-credentialed military, government and scientific personnel; most of whom were also abductees or firsthand witnesses.
