Lovely plans! Do you have enough Mondim for both projects? Or are you prioritising the socks over the hat?

I remember knitting you a pair of socks eons ago and I’m loving that you’ve become a knitter. I’m obsessed lately with knitting for olive and sari norlund patterns.

In the period where you weren't posting videos I transferred most of my youtube watching from book videos to knitting videos so it's so nice to have you back talking about both books and knitting!! Also caught the colourwork bug last year and made the Boskular jumper by Marina Skua and Ruled by Neptune by Klara Cecilia both of which I've been wearing non-stop since I finished them. For me it's actually easier to do colourwork on bigger projects than on socks so I think once you get to a jumper your floats will be perfect.

I loved this! I'm a knitter as well as a reader and I'm super happy to see you adding knitting content. But mostly I'm just very happy that you're excited about it. I'm knitting the same colorwork cuff club socks as you are right now, because I've also been bitten by the colorwork sock bug.

I've loved knitting for a long time, but I never really gave it time. I can only knit scarfs at the minute, haha, and attempting my first blanket for our second son. So, seeing your inclusion of knitting as well as reading is such perfect timing for me ^^ (I'm a long-time viewer although a silent one). I'm very much looking forward to all your knitting projects but also vlogs mixed with knitting 😊

That is good timing! And well done for starting with a blanket, they are great fun. Thank you for watching as long as you have too ❤️

Thank you for keeping me company today. I really appreciated it. I cast on a new sweater while I was watching! As usual your reading taste is so inspiring after a year of my barely reading anything. I read The Hike, which you mentioned in your samples video, I think. It was exactly what I was in the mood for. I'm curious about the books you mentioned about private schools. I'm looking forward to seeing how your sweater turns out if you feel like sharing!

Thank you. I just finished the audiobook and was cringing from the first minute, but I’m stubborn. It’s a complete rip off of an accomplished and nuanced story that is an obvious ploy to liberally inject pop culture references as per RPO but to the point it becomes so annoying and so over the top it’s cynicism overtakes any semblance of a story. It’s childish, pointless and so badly written it’s a miracle it was published at all.

Good to see you back, Sophie! I've been similarly drawn to more e-book reading over the last few weeks/months, both to knit and read simultaneously and also easing strain from my hands and wrists. I'm using the Kobo Clara Colour which I have really enjoyed so far.

It’s so lovely to see a video from you. I hope both you and Whit are feeling better. Just a heads up to look at trigger warnings for Chlorine. I personally couldn’t have read it very soon after an inpatient admission. I too was interested in the new Kindle releases, but the Colorsoft has been having significant issues from reviews I’ve read. I think I’ll hold out, like you, for later generations.

Happy to see you, Sophie!! And Foster! 😊 I have too many ebooks in general but I heard on a bookish podcast once how they approached reading their tbr in terms of years,… like a current release, maybe something you wanted to read a year ago, something from 5 years ago and ten years ago. Do I do that? No but I want to make more effort in 2025.😅
