Why should I use the gov store mode? Isn't it a hassle having to wait the heli spool up for 15 seconds every flight before take off? Can't I simply use the gov elf mode?

The 15 sec 50 percent throttle calibration is done once and done. You don't have to recalibrate every flight. Use GOV. Store as it is the best setting.

So how does the Analyze function work? You’re supposed to be able to program the Analyze results back into the Bump Tag, but it’s not intuitively obvious on how to properly do this? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I`m having trouble setting up my throttle on my v-bar touch radio. My esc is a castle 90.I went to the Vstabi site and downloaded the set up for this castle esc but it did not work. I have no control of the throttle stick .When I go to run it spools to full throttle can you help me out.

How did I miss this back in the day. That was just a simple brain fart. Looked like you were going to piro to a different transition, then stopped and then was going to go back into the large tic-toc, but the pause sucked your head speed and control and your sticks were then just off. Flight was smooth.

I did. Only on the Saturday, but it was red hot (86F), glorious sunshine and no wind. I also managed not to get sun burned thanks to some sun screen. A win all round. Saw some great heli flying, and some great planes/pilots too. That Jase Dussia is a bit tasty with a 3D plane. Someone should get him a heli. The lack of international heli pilots was slightly disappointing, especially after last year when there were both Kyles and Mirko Cesena demoing but you can't have it all.

What timing did you use for that motor? I have the scorpion 4525 ultimate too, what setting did you find works well for you?

Shane Sherer default timing of 15* and default pwm work perfectly. The numbers will seem a bit high, but they really do work great with minimal heat.

Nick I am having issues with a 60A v4 and an iKon 2 where the initial spool up has such force (no soft start) that the heli actually spins on the floor. I went no further and I use Gov Store on the ESC but left the governor lead plugged in to see if I can at least log the RPM's. Is there a way to solve this issue so I can use the FBL Gov instead of the ESC Gov?

At this moment there really isn't for the iKon/Brain. See apparently the issue is the iKon/Brain needs to be ran in fixed wing mode to govern properly unlike VBar guys being able to use Heli/Linear Throttle mode which has a soft start built into it. I know the Brain guys at our FF were all running in fixed with mode and have turned the Motor start power in the ESC settings all the way down to 1. That makes the kick manageable although its' still there for now. HobbyWing is working on a dedicated external gov mode that should solve all the issues though so hang tight.

Nick Lenn thanks Nick I will keep it on Gov Store for now. Given my low skill level I don't want to risk it. The ESC governing is working for me and just wanted to get rid of the RPM standardization step and log the RPM on the FBL. I honestly don't think I will be personally hugely impacted by the performance difference so I will wait on the solution by HW. Thanks again!

Hal Staniloff Yep, after the last updates the NEO's seem to be good to go. I'm not having any issues either. Mostly it's just the full size and MiniVs that are still problematic.

If your using a beast x put throttle to low plug battery in after half a second move throttle 2 100 percent wait for 2 beeps back to low throttle
