Very good filming of a wild dog hunt and capture. I did notice that the tourists' giddy "this is so cool" commentary stopped when the dogs were disemboweling the live Lechwe.

I find it fascinating the way that the dogs fan out when they start their hunt, with a couple of them knowing to bring up the rear as the rest of the pack head out

Sucks to be at the bottom of the food chain. The thing is, once wild dogs numbers recover, the kills will be a lot quicker as pack size increases. With enough dogs, the animal is dead in less than a minute.

Extreme fear paralyzes the antelope and numbs the body to a point he can barely run. The antelope can outrun and escape a cheetah but when a pack of wild dogs are chasing the animal, panic makes him an easy pray.

I love these dogs but the way they kill is gruesome. At least, big cats suffocate their victim most of the time so it is quick.

I know it's nature, but watching these all videos about wild dogs killing another animal, I realized that they're the worst and the cruelest predator than lions and hyenas, cause they kill eating alive, while the other kill bitting in the neck before eat.

hyenas eat their pray alive too , in a more gruesome way , i think those dog might be faster at doing so
@rocconof
@rocconof 4 жыл бұрын
You are an ignorant. Wild dogs are not cruel. They kill with the weapons they have. They dont have claws or the weight to paralize the prey, and bite in the neck. They only can kill by biting where they can. Its not their fault
@luksgui2118
@luksgui2118 4 жыл бұрын
@@rocconof Oooh, of course I know that. I'm just kidding when I said about them. I know It's nature and perfectly normal the way they kill.
