doing a shiny badge quest in Shield right now and want to get an Arrokuda for the fire gym, at present I can only encounter it via fishing in Hulbury as I don't have the upgraded Rotom bike yet. Does that mean this is a full odds hunt with no control over what I actually get?

I'm 160 hours in, completed both DLCs, have all 400 in the dex with a shiny charm and have actively shiny hunted with at least 4-5 thousand encounters and still not a single shiny.

Are these shiny lock in the early game

Man I'm super late to this but I was curious..lets say im hunting Chewtle. once I hit the hard cap of 3.08% brilliant spawn chance at 100 knock-outs, does that only apply as I'm chaining knocking out Chewtle, or will every Chewtle in the game that spawns from now on always have that 3.08% chance to spawn brilliant? The boosted odds only applies to brilliant Pokémon, which sucks lol

is it weird that for me the ratastic achievement isn't working? edit: it worked after the second try somhow I missed a spot of rats somehow that's why the game thought I didn't see or go near them and skipped them somehow
