She has to be one of the strongest female leads ever the character and the actress. They would have never made it without her, she was smart from the beginning while Adama was angry/irrational and going to go to war when the war was already lost. She was already thinking about survival of the human race. It would have been a much shorter show had she not been there to gather the civilian ships and talk Adama down. I dislike that they had her go religious later on it didn't seem to fit the woman at all but it is part of the story so she had to do it, and she did it well. I get chills from the one scene though "I am coming for all of you".... the first time I seen that I almost jumped out of my seat excited.

I respect her a lot, though I didn't agree with some of the choices she and Adama made regarding the cylons early on, but that was part of her character development and the development of the themes of the show. What's so great about BSG is it's strong characters, and Roslin is definitely one of them.

For me the beauty of BSG is there are no good or bad guys strictly speaking, EVERYONE does awful things, but its shows how some of the worst things in history can be done in a misguided sense of doing the right thing or what is needed at the time, Laura and Adama are the closest thing to good guys in the story (maybe Lee is the true good guy?) but even they do awful things when they deem it required, this is reflected in Baltar who is at all points really just trying to survive but through cowardice usually is at the center of the chaos, without ever willing it, in a way Baltars crimes are nothing, he did not know what he was doing in regards the first cylon attack, and in new caprica had a gun to his head, His apathy and hendonism are his crimes

This is the only real romance in the show and they haven't really done enough with it. I like how Phil/Melinda play a kind of parental role to the rest of the team too.

Okay, I didn't think this video would affect me so much since I've heard this song, like, 3,027 times(not really)- but ohmigod!! The pheels! My emotions can barely take it! I REALLY want to rewatch the first season's later episodes, but if your vid is any indication its gonna kill me. This is powerful, touching, bittersweet stuff. :_)

I am re-watching the whole AOS Season 1 .. and just finished with Providence and Only Light in Darkness .. and then I saw this ... it's just perfect !! So touching and full of Philinda feels !!! I love it .. you've done an awsome job !!
