Honestly I've seen so many hints that Rotis can be endgame. There are episodes in s1 and s2 that it seems the creators were giving us hints.

I mean they cutted her off halfway Season 3 while she still had feelings without going on with that story on any level at all. Rubys mom works in the hospital. So a scenario where something happens with Otis babysister. Ruby has somehow has to be in the hospital and walks into Otis. They get to talk, comforts him. And start to talk about them 2 etc. Ruby gets into an argument/fight with her friends. Which she is upset about. She needs to talk with someone and doesnt know anyone else to talk to besides Otis cause thats someone she knows she can always talk to. And who is someone she knows she can trust with these sort of things. And that gets all feelings warm up a lot again. Something could happen to Ruby's father who as you know has MS. And something went worse with him. She is obviously upset about it in the hospital. And needs someone to be there for her. And since Otis did met her father too. Enough possibilities really 🤗🤗🥰

Yeah and honestly for me I think the season started really well at the beginning when ruby was with Otis and after they broke up and kinda went down a bit until the last episode when they closed down the school. I think they do more with ruby and Otis than a one and done thing.
