This Hamlet cigar advert sure takes me back to when I was a child in the late 1980’s and that music also, something about that tune that used to creep me out when I was a child back in the day but now that I am a grown adult when I listen to it it’s actually refreshing and makes me feel appreciated on how fortunate of a childhood life I had with these classic adverts, Saturday night shows and amazing quiz games in the week 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🤘 I’m showing my age now at 42 lol 💖💗❤️👄🌅☀️🌞🏖️🌴🏝️ I am autistic so I’ve always had good memories on adverts for some reason especially on tobacco advertising like this one 💖💗❤️👄🏖️🏖️🏝️🏝️🌴🌴☀️☀️🌞🌞🌅🌅🤩🤩😍😍🥳🥳🗽🗽🗽🗽

This is the best version of the theme as well as opening and closing titles (used from 1975 to 1989). Beautifully filmed and edited, they suit the theme and programme just perfectly.

For those interested by the theme song, it was written by Johnny Worth and the single version was performed by Catherine Stock - John was my brother ion law, Cath my sister - here she is performing on TOTP kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaKQnXpmlpyFsM0si=cQ_SqYOD8rCAghLk

How I *wish* someone would produce something as comfortable, simple, gentle yet charming as this. *Won't happen now though.* A bygone era. Netflix's "Go, Dog, Go!", although opposite in tone, comes close though. That *really* is excellent. PS: The outro music for "Camberwick Green" here is just *masterclass!*

Since Radio 1 was celebrating their sweet 16 in 1981, they thought it would be a good idea to pay tribute to jingle packages of years past - including the elusive 1969 Audio Producers jingle package that was recently found.
