I've made a fool of myself in professional settings so much when I was first starting out, like beyond cringe over the top shit, but you kinda have to make those mistakes in the real world and make yourself learn from it. You'll have to try out different learning strategies to find the best one for yourself, and putting in some extra time during training phases can show your bosses you're committed. Social skills and putting on a politically correct mask while also finding a way to remain neutral in the office politics / stay off management's radar is something that comes with time.. I went from chefs trying to fight me for 10yrs and all the rowdiness of fine dining hospitality to a p.c. IT office setting, I had to keep my mouth zipped shit - if you weren't getting help or guidance with the training material while struggling that's not the best sign from a healthy department / company view anyways, so you might've dodged a bad work environment. It might've literally been the one mistake you mentioned where firewall caught training material you were sending to personal email - idk how locked down your company is, but some trainers would flip (definitely admin) if they thought there was a chance of internal documents leaking... I could see that getting someone axed if you're still in the probationary period and it violates hard company guidelines for internal/proprietary documents Either way, keep yo head up g! I've come home with the room spinning to find your livestreams and you always crack me up haha like you said you have to look at this stuff like an athlete, address your weaknesses head on and train to get better 💪
