if u slow it down, at 3:15 you can notice that the ai's paddle doesnt actually hit the ball

Yea this is a very old version of the game. The ai in the new version works completely differently

hey :-) how did you get this to work? downloaded and installed MRC but when double clicking in OBS to connect to the quest2 while 11 was running ,it didnt work... did i miss something? and if yes,what?

For coop, do both players have to own the game?

both people need to be able to run the game on their device. If it's 2 quest devices, logged into the same facebook account, then you don't need to, and can't, have 2 copies of Eleven installed anyway

I love table tennis so much that I still enjoy it even when I lose, and I do lose alot because I'm not that good at it, but the game has been on sale at Steam recently and I grabbed it right away!

To anyone who's thinking about getting this I HIGHLY reccomend it. I've started playing maybe a month ago and it's been amazing. It's very realistic and the online community is super chill and friendly. I've even had a lot of them tip me on stuff like serves! Seriously grab this if you're even slightly interested in table tennis.

I second this, i dont play table tennis and was really bad. Ive met some AMAZING people in just 1 day that helped me learn. Its just incredible how real it feels.

I don't want to rain on your parade but how many times did the A.I. Professional serve the ball into it's end of the table. That doesn't seem very professional to me !

I'm the dev :) There is no parade. The AI, in the version of the game in the video, just runs randomly through a list of prerecorded serves. When I was recording them, I hit the table edge once, and thought "i'll leave it in there, since I want the AI to feel more human". It's weird when it happens more than once. The game has changed a lot since then - currently there isn't even any precording stuff at all.

Anyone tested this and can comment on the feel of it at all? Does striking the ball mimic at all what it feels like really? I've tried a few of these table tennis games back when motion capture was a new thing and all of them disappointed me.

lol I also beat him 12-10. 8-5 in front, then 9-10 behind, it was a tense match but I made it through. I don't understand why he misses his serves though, the lower bots don't do this. I also beat semi-pro 11-1. :p

The feeling you get when hitting the ball should be a bit "heavier". And if you play this game and then in RL, it'll be a disaster lol. You have to exagerate your forehand loop a lot in the game. I need MORE SPIN!!!! :D

agreed, the haptic effect could be a little stronger , on oculus its a bit weak , racket fury for example has a better haptic
