Has anything actually changed on these bikes over the last 8-10 years apart from the colour scheme.

I think it’s just a fluke, I had a 1700 nomad 80,000 miles and now have a voyager with 8,000 miles and no issues with that clamp or hose

Great video, sir. BTW does the chrome tank cover cause glare during the middle of the day ? I had a Yamaha Stratoliner xv1800 and placed black leather over it. Other people sprayed a wrinkle black finish on it.

Not changing the design helps keeps the cost down as they don't need to stock a ton of different parts. The greatest thing this bike has going for it is sheer value for money. If you want to upgrade things like the radio and add bluetooth you can still upgrade for much less than the cost of competing bikes although I agree that in this day and age this should be added. Integrated navigation is not needed - with phones and cheaper standalone GPS devices these latter devices work better and cost less to update etc.

Not With mine same year and color my prob is the throttle being twitchy but an Ivan flash will cure that
@David-e6d6nАй бұрын
It’s funny everything you said happened to me antenna fell off on the way home from the dealership that rattling noise my bike to took it back told them to do something they did it went away I f do one like the decelerating problem for my wife sake drives her nut her head going back and forth every time I let off the throttle I agree about the Bluetooth. Word of advice on the antenna, I had them give me a replacement Shorty one I know it’s my reception isn’t as good so I don’t suggest getting the short antenna as a replacement. But like you I love the bike I am getting new pipes and Ivan flashed. And as for gas mileage I’m getting 40.45 miles per gallon my bike is same year same color it is an eye turner.

Same gauges and radio they have been putting on these for almost 10 years would be nice to see them upgrade the infotainment a bit or atleast have a upgrade option for digital with GPS and or android auto or apple carplay ect most companies have upgraded on most models across the board and for the sticker price o. These they definitely could upgrade it for us beautiful bike tho I love these things for the price point riding two up long distance and reliability you can't beat these newer kawasaki's

It’s a stone axe of a bike - I like its simplicity of design and ease of use. It’s much better after an ecu flash and I get 42-45mpg and cooler running and no deceleration popping.

Don’t feel bad, I bought a new Pontiac in 1975 and three weeks later it left me stranded on the highway. Overheating, and all it was the thermostat was defective from factory. It was stuck and did not open. Replace it and never had issues again.

The Voyager is actually overpriced for lack of features. If you compare same year to other brands, you get way more for only a little more.

My 07 Nomad, when loaded down with me, daughter, 3 day pack, and all the "just in case" junk in the bags, I used to put my shocks up near the max in the 35 psi range. This gave a bit of a rough ride, but rolling through switchbacks in the mountains, the suspension would not wallow or compress to the point I would be tearing up hard parts if there was a dip in the road.. Normally run a few PSI over ambient. I did also tie both of my shocks together with an air crossover so there was 1 fill point (that did not require the bags to be removed to check or fill) and both were automatically equal. It makes a huge difference when you understand how to work with the suspension to get the effect you need for the ride you are on.

Porsche has the same look on the 911 Turbo for the longest time outside of technology like the Motor and electronics to better why change the looks to maybe something worse. I think the looks is beautiful. but those cheap Speakers and a blue tooth needs to happen from factory.

I am looking into buying this bike. I don't even need radio and speakers. If the bike has bluetooth it means it is too modern for me in the first place so kudos to Kawasaki for not implementing it. The fact that they haven't changed the design and it remained the same, is the biggest plus for me. :D So basically there are no dislikes for me. Regarding the chrome piece, there are way better alternatives :D

Well the fan system to disperse the heat off the rider's legs was not available on the 2010 or 2011 model (that is a difference), only the 2012 and up. And honestly, I only bought this bike actually because it has NOT changed. That was the appeal for me. And you are wrong, it is EXTREMELY costly for a motorcycle manufacturer to change a design, and if they do, the price of the bike will skyrocket (not sure where you got that info from). I know you say you like how the bike runs "as is," but I am telling you - if you get the ECU flashed by IVAN or Moore's Mafia (I went with Moore's) you will never go back. It completely turns this into a different machine. I would sell the bike if I had to go back to the stock ECU settings, it's that much an improvement. Just saying.

Enjoyed this video. I just moved to Mexico and looking for something bigger, with some power for my daily driver. I love the color on the 2022, as well as those full white. 2024 is not even released yet. Dont know why, neither Kawasaki, HD, Triumph, Indian have released their 2024 models and we are beyond mid March. Not even the Can-Am Ryker 2024 is out yet although they are even manufactured here. Anyway, enjoyed. Liked and subscribed.

I have a 2013 and love everything about it. I have added so many things to it and it looks amazing. I do however feel that upgrades like a BT stereo would not add to the price. We love our electronics! The wire mps3 wore or whatever that thing is needs to be replaced. This is a great bile but it does need relevant upgrades every couple of years.

Ive got a little over 10,000 miles on my 23 Voyager. I never had any complaints about it...until 3 wks ago i added a 24 Heritage 114 to my garage. My first Harley as ive been loyal to the big 4 till now. As far as cruisers go its plainly obvious too me that my Voyager is not comparable in any way to my Harley. Does that change how i feel about my Voyager? Yes, but i just have to keep in mind it is a BUDGET bike. That is where it really kills it.

I'm looking to purchase one of these bikes this week. Found a 2020 Model with only 450 miles on it. But my biggest fear is buying a 900 pound bike with 70 horsepower? That seems absolutely crazy to me. My last 3 bikes weighed in around 550 pounds and all 3 had 140 hp plus. I feel like I am going to have buyer's remorse. I would think this bike feels like driving a moped around since it has the equivalent horsepower of a 300-400cc bike. I don't understand why they wouldn't at least make this bike 100 hp minimal (120hp would be better). I saw a post buy a guy that said a kid with a 300cc Yamaha beat him in a race, that is CRAZY. My speed demon days are over, but when you need to quickly pass someone for safety, I don't want to end up dead on the roadway.
@elitepatrol32567 ай бұрын
If you have the ability to or if it's an option I would recommend trying to ride on one before you buy. If you have to make a road trip I'd call the dealer before going but I think a road trip and the cost of gas would be worth making sure you don't end up hating the bike.

Voyager fan. I love that the style has not changed. I don't use all the tech stuff, so I'm okay with that part. Hope it stays like this or it will cost what the others do. The chrome piece can be an issue. Mostly for me I don't want anything in my front that reflects sunlight, but I'm a safety nut, ha.

I just wanted to be able to let people know they may want to check theirs too. It just took some tightening some hose clamps but had I not done that, that extremely hot coolant could've ended up on my legs and been much worse.
