The socialist socialist government of Guyana had piqued the interest of U.S. intelligence for years. If there were covert operations going on there, no one should be surprised.

Sorry, but if you listen to the tapes made in Jonestown, you will find that 19 yr old Stephan was balls deep in the oppression and torture of people at Jonestown. Requiring people who were called up front to salute him after he berates them, torturing the elderly with isolation with poisonous snakes or tigers. I also noticed in this interview that his pupils are much more dilated than the crying lady next to him. Not to mention that is a very nice gold herringbone disco chain around his neck for a devout socialist!!! It's important to research a person's actions before you buy their entire story of innocent ignorance.

Fuck him. He tortured Kay Rosas in Jonestown. A master manipulator just like his father.

Stephan knew there was a possibility that forced suicide could happen. He wanted his father's name on the memorial plaque that was dedicated to the dead people. He fought hard for it.

A couple things. 1) he was aware of ALL the guns. There are multiple FBI interviews of survivors know for a fact that he was part of security, and he that the guns were kept in his own cottage. You could tell by his heimsitation and stuttering that he was lying. 2)Hiw dare he essentially blame Debby Blakey...knowing that him and the rest of the inner circle were well aware that this was going to happen. Tim and Mike Cater, and we'll as Mike Prokes were sent with money and guns to go to the states and kill people. There were quite a few guys on the "basketball team" all in the inner circle. How convenient they were "playing basketball" He didn't want to stop it, because they all had the power to do so and didn't. He was enjoying the life of head honcho, son of "father". I never knew until today that Jim Jones had any children. I've been reading some of Stephan's recollections of life with his father and he's a brilliant writer. I have much respect for how he handled the reporters here. I cannot imagine how it must have felt to basically lose your whole world at one time. He must be a very mentally strong person to have survived this.

Two questions: 1) What happened to the $1,5 million in cash, gold and checks that Jim Jones had? Did his kids including Stephan inherit that money? And 2) Did Stephan Jones and the reporters know during this press conference that there were 920 people dead in Jonestown?

This man took part in beating those people in Jonestown. Stephen is just as evil.
