I thought this was going to be like an enthusiasticly soft toned Bob Ross "fluffy white clouds" of extended prog shredding.

Love u Rabea. Ur a voice and a great example of what most of us look to achieve. In the end as a musician I just want to make music for a living and I want people to share in that music. And u bro, uve made such huge strides in the last 5 to 10 years but you're still very much a man of the people

Time is all relatibe and its math. BUT u can feel it. Just be fearless. One big advantage to teaching myself guitar at least in my experience is that I worried much less about hitting wrong notes and always focused more on musicality

out of curiosity: what would you like him to teach/show you?
@FatalizedGuitar5 ай бұрын
@@musicisumhow to follow your ear as a musician. His solos and riffs are insanely pleasing to listen too. An inside into how he’s got to where he is without much musical knowledge and being self taught and how we, can put it into practice to follow our own ears to develop our own styles. Edit: And phrasing too. His phrasing is excellent time signatures and the way he solos.

Great lesson and much appreciated. I'm new to neo soul and I'm trying to separate it from other styles particularly jazz. In general, is neo-soul jazz style chording, but with lots of embellishes such as arpeggios, slides, hammer ons/offs and plucking individual strings that make up a chord? I'm sure it's much more than that, but I'm starting from the very beginning here. Forgive my naiveness, but just trying to get a grasp of neo soul as I delve deeper into it.
