What’s the meaning of this piece in Rinaldo?

"Furie terribili" is the entrance aria of Armida in the first act. She is the Queen of Damascus and is a magician. Her fiancé Argante is King of Jerusalem, which is besieged by a Christian army. It is led by Goffredo and his brother Eustacio. Goffredo promises the brave knight Rinaldo the hand of his daughter Almirena if Rinaldo succeeds in conquering the city. Argante has not yet been defeated, but he wants to secure Armida's help against Rinaldo. He summons the magician with an incantation. Under thunder and lightning she appears on a flying dragon that spits smoke and fire. Armida sings the Arietta with the text: "Furie terribili! Circondatemi, sequidatemi con faci orribili!" Translated, this means: "Terrible furies! Surround me, seize me with cruel faces!" After this, Armida agrees to help Argante. She kidnaps Almirena; when Rinaldo tries to free her, Armida falls in love with Rinaldo, but he rejects her. With the help of a magician, Goffredo and Eustacio manage to free Rinaldo and Almirena. Rinaldo defeats Argante, Jerusalem is freed and in the 'lieto fine' Armida and Argante repent and are baptised Christians. Rinaldo is happily united with Almirena.

Muzician unic ,exceptional ,ne se va mai naste asa geniu.Un ansamblu legendar ,fiti atenti ce timbalist colosal,toti instrumentisti au fost legendari ,asa ceva nu va mai fi niciodata .Acum muzicienii nu mai studiaza indeajuns si alearga numai dupa bani.Violoncelistul are niste linii melodice de contrapunt geniale ,clarinetistul impecabil.Muzicieni absolut fantasti;i ,de legenda.

People that put thumbs down on this exceptionally beautiful music has no taste in music at all. Sandor Lakatos is a renowned gypsy violinist to whom my father spoke highly of. My father told me he met Sandor in person and actually had the privilege to play in his band in Hungary.

Ich bilde mir ein etwas entweichende Luft gehört zu haben an manchen Stellen, was zu einem riesigen stimmlichen Problem fuehren koennte. Ich mag Anna's Kunst sehr, da sie glaubhaft darstellt mit viel Emotion! Brava! Vielen Dank für das Teilen dieses Videos!

Ni za 1000000000 godina Niko nece ovako svirati ovakva ljubav ovakav osecaj ovo je ne opisivo. Svira se I sad ova stvar Ali nema tog osecaja te ljubavi da prenese !!!! Jedan je bio lakatos sandor. I posle njega sve je smesno !!!!!!

Жаль, что на свете мало людей говорят по венгерски. Стояло бы перевести этих песень на русский язык, чтобы милионы могли наслаждаться этой музыкой. Для русской души лирические песни так нужны, как солнце для цветов.
