I have a Kato Great Northern F7A and it looks great pulling freight, but I think it would look even better hauling passenger cars. Unfortunately, all the Great Northern passenger cars I've found in N scale are way out of my current price range (I'm going to be building a layout this summer so I need to reserve hobby money for that).

That’s great! I paid $300.00 for one of these locomotives and it out of the box won’t pull 12 atlas covered hoppers on flat track. Not to happy, considering I have 3 35 year old Bachmann sd40-2, each one will pull 35-40 cars with no problem. I’m making a call Monday.
