Today I started researching a game about pre-human evolution. (Humankind), and a discussion about proto-language led me (naturally) to the Jetsons Eeep Opp Ork Ah-Ah...which led me (of course) to the Violent Femmes. Who I saw live for the first time 1/2 mile from where I currently live almost 30 years ago (way before I lived here...I grew up a country kid). Don't you love when the universe hands you a full-circle moment?

Cannot believe how great this still sounds nearly 19 years after I first heard it. Great bass work, great guitar work and the drums are just Huge. Love this.
