@@554LH thanks. I sampled the 808 kickand played it -5 pitch along with the standard 808 kick 👍 it does boom nicely I plan to use it this way more often

Hell yeah bro..i still have my MC-909. I love it so much. I had a MC-808 befire that but i only ever programmed drum beats and played the steps like keys for synths. With the 909 i startrd programming drum plus the basslines and even some lead melodies. I love it. I still have it setup and hooked in ready to go. I wont front though,i use MIDI sequencers on Ableton to make my drums now lol.

Holy hell, that DJS-1000 looks frickin HUGE. I never realized it was that big. Very cool to see someone still using an MC-909. As old as it is, it's still got a leg up on a lot of modern grooveboxes because you can do any sound you want polyphonically and in stereo. It always blows my mind when you see a new box come out that can't do those things but the trusty old MC was doing it over 20 years ago.

It's pretty heavy too. I like big heavy boxes they definitely feel better to work with. The DJS is a great "performance sampler" I wish it had a couple more things overall but it's pretty well thought out as a live production piece.
