Don't buy Don't buy !! The hood led lights are not replaceable. Mine is 18 months old and 1 is burnt out. The hood size makes it almost impossible to change to glass and use your own led. That brace broke on mine as well

No there's not a lot of different kinds on the market just for small baby aquariums, there used to be back in the 80s real nice ones for 72 inch tanks Coral Life made a real nice one for 72 inch tanks no longer available The only 2 that I could find is one from chewy and one from Beamswork There's a video on KZbin for that one that this guy shows you on his tank.What happened to the aquarium hobby for lights and full hoods for 6 foot tanks?

Funny that I’m here cause because my Aquaclear 30 is still working, BUT isn’t pumping nearly the water it used to. I could buy the motor and impeller to fix it, buy a new Aquaclear for the same price, or buy this. I think I’m going with the marineland.

I know you did something else. For anyone watching this now and didn't want to finish watch the outcome of this series, all you have to do is submerse the pumps all the way down and use tube's or small pipes to lift the water through the holes. If thise pumps ar out of the water partially, they will heat up and heat the water. Unless.it was designed to work partially submerged. Youncan also take advantage Tage of all.that wasted space to add biological filter media.

Nice sump. Not a fan of overflow boxes. For no particular reason other than looks, because it works every bit as well as a drilled tank.. But guaranteed your tank is cycled and ready to go after that reset👍🏻

I have had this for 4 years now. I did change filters and heater, nothing wrong with the original but just wanted to upgrade. No complaints so far!

No, this has one big disadvantage, When you turn off the pump or when the power goes off then all the filter media gets dry ex-pecaly the biological filter. Then all the bacteria will be dead. Then what reason for using biological philter media. This is not a good method 👎👎

Any tips?? My friend has one of these on a ten gallon.. It still is not c!earing the water after two weeks. Only three little goldfish... Is there a trick for idiots to put the cartridge in right?? They are doing this with me over the phone. Lol. Sent the time stamp 5:45.. Try turning it down..

I have the whisper Advanced. Those are about the same device. Clears water in a few hours, generally.

@@bubblerings filters don’t necessarily clear up the water. I mean they do but, If your friends water still has a white haze it probably isn’t cycled yet. Add some beneficial bacteria.

i know they e not the same but i have non fish pets myself and if u can keep a dog 1 tank should be no prob plus u always seem to need or want a tank i would try to keep it also still holding out hope for a custom canopy/hood build
