We have the Aireloom Equinox extra firm and it cured my hip and back pain. I wonder why there are so few videos on it.

Guys, the tufting is a big thing. Many others cheap out and use glue that never holds the insides together.
@BigBear--4 ай бұрын
It's not that the glues don't hold them together. It's that the glue prevents the mattress from breathing to it's maximum potential, for the materials used. Breathability is ultimately what gives you the best temperature regulation, and prevents the mattress from sleeping hot. All the various phase change materials do is give you that initial feeling of coolness when you first lay on them. However they almost all eventually warm up after some time, then what really takes over is how well the mattress can breathe, and how well it can help move that heat away from the sleeper. People also don't take into consideration that often the "cool" phase change materials don't feel as cool once you put a mattress protector and sheets on a mattress vs how they felt at the well air conditioned store when they first tried laying on the bare mattress. Best thing if you want that initial cooling effect, is get a mattress that breathes well, and get some tencel or eucalyptus based sheet sets to sleep on.

@@BigBear-- I just got an equinox aireloom luxury firm mattress. It is very nice, but I think it could be more firm. It's so hard to get a truly firm mattress these days.

@@trenbriggs6933 The Equinox Luxury Firm from Raymond & Flannigans is the same exact mattress as the Preferred Collection Streamline Luxury Firm from Aireloom. Raymond & Flannigans doesn't alter the Aireloom mattress construction for their stores, however they do rename them so it makes it nearly impossible to have to price match them with other stores or other Aireloom mattresses. If you wanted a firmer feel, the Aireloom Preferred Collection Streamline Extra Firm (called the Equinox Extra Firm at Raymond & Flannigans), shares exactly the same construction as the Luxury Firm, but it uses firmer latex layers, to provide you with a firmer feel. The order of layers, and overall construction is the same though. Don't get confused with the Streamline Firm...the Firm actually changes the construction that the other two share, and uses more visco foam (memory foam), rather than use latex. It feels completely different than the other two. If you're still within the sleep trial period with Raymond & Flannigans, you can try and exchange the Equinox Luxury Firm, for the Equinox Extra Firm. On a personal note, I'm currently shopping for a mattress (6'2", 350lbs). After being introduced to Aireloom I fell in love with their quality, construction, and material choices. I initially had a hard time deciding between the Streamline/Equinox Luxury Firm and Extra Firm models, and they had them side by side at the store. However after walking around and trying the Streamline Luxetop M1 Firm...I fell in love. No other mattress provided the level of full body pressure relief, while still having a firm core feel, and not allowing my hips to sink. Most mattresses I tried, that felt close to this, after a few minutes I would start to feel pressure start building in my lower back, slowly starting to roll into light pain. Except for the Luxetop M1 Firm. Just fyi, not sure what your budget is, but Aireloom has an additional line of mattresses one step above their Karpen line. However they are on a separate Aireloom website. They're called their Kluft Collection. Just search for Kluft mattresses on google, you'll get the KluftMattress site. They also make a Bloomingdale's exclusive Kluft line...that runs into the $22K+ range for a Queen. Good luck, and ALWAYS shop around and price match if you can. I managed to find a single store selling the regularly $5,700-5,800 Luxetop M1 Firm, for $3,199. Even though it was in a different region from where I needed it shipped, and couldn't ship there. I used their pricing to get a price match at a local place in FL. Also if a brick and mortar location gives you trouble price matching or anything else policy related, try and call the customer care line if there is one, or the main office, and deal with them direct. They are usually forced to have to follow procedure and honor their policies. Good luck! Let me know if this helps.

I just bought this exact mattress too. It didn’t feel like it was super firm in store when I tried it. I’m mostly a stomach sleeper but tend to start on my side then switch to my stomach. Have you tried sleeping on your side with this mattress? If so, how is it?
@tomcat6933 Жыл бұрын
@jseukunian yes it is fine. After about 2 months, it isn't as hard. It works great for all positions after 3 months. Just make sure you sleep on all sides to break it in.

@@tomcat6933the mattress was delivered yesterday. I am honestly floored on how good it is. Yes, it’s HARD but the way it contoured to my body to keep support was amazing. I didn’t feel like I was sinking into it, which is what I wanted. I did wake up a bit sore (as to be expected because my body isn’t used to this) but the fact that I didn’t wake up with excruciating lower back pain says a lot! I’d rather take minimal discomfort in the beginning than to wake up feeling like my back is about to snap in half. I also feel like it helped with my posture. Usually I hunch a little but not today!!! I feel like I had a spine alignment in my sleep. Can’t wait to see how it feels in a few months. Also, you were right. I was able to sleep in all positions and it was totally fine. I did as you suggested and… No pain, all comfort. It’s my first firm mattress and a foam one at that. I can’t say enough good things about it. Time will truly tell though… I just hope it lasts a very long time. Thank you!

@@Seuk_Seuk Great to hear. Let me know how it feels in 3 months. Remember to break in all areas of the mattress. It will soften up.
