I was early teenage in -76. Learnig how to play guitar. This song was first to play. Was hard. Did not work. Still easy to play. Thow. Then I heard somewere this song Santa Esmeralda and I was amazed. What the fuck! My guitar playing was somewhere in ass. Left it. Now I found this song after dacades and it still works, fucing good. Beatiful connection to american folk tradisional and spanish flamengo. Amazing!

Recuerdo que a fines de los 70, mi viejo escuchaba a Santa Esmeralda y me encantaba esa musica. en el 2024 y con 50 añoz de edad , los escucho y en vinilo, me trae muchos recuerdos. Agradecido de ser parte de esta historia.

Its rare that any cover is a match for the original hit. I know House of the Rising Sun is not original for The Animals but they made it a popular hit. I get the same kick out of this version as the Animals version. Even rarer, add Don't Let me Be Misunderstood and G L O R I A to the list.

This is really Masterpiece.... as you listen it more and more you get a new angel to look at the song each time. I really love this song.... especially the music from start to end.... And the middle masterpiece is just fabulous...
