You don’t eat dead crabs….crabs that’ve been killed and cleaned aren’t “dead crabs”. Cleaning them will preserve it’s freshness after killing them. The poisonous enzymes are in the crabs gut that releases a short time after death. Stabbing the crab and letting it sit for an hour before cooking it whole would be dangerous. Nothing wrong with eating a crab that’s been killed and cleaned.

Hmm.. looks like the crabs don't see the doors as a way in because they're closed, while the funnels are open.. Dumb Crabs..:)

We went to this location behind Home Depot right off 45 as soon as you enter Galveston Island it has big crabs back there only thing is it’s a walk away from your car and muddy and has Snakes 🐍 I’m too afraid to go back after we was attacked!

First site is 50 then the next one is 40

We went crabbing back there and it’s full of huge crabs but it’s way too much trash and water you will get stuck not to mention the snakes a lot of 🐍

After you hog clipped the bait holder, did you cut the opposite side to have the opening?

I was sea sick trying to keep my eyes focused, what was the final results? Why was that inside wire placed over the bait box? How many entrances Did you put? Any escape rings? Degradable panel or mesh? I live in Florida an these trap spec’s seem unlimited.
