as someone within driving distance who has just gotten into the furry/fursuit scene I am SO excited to see there's a branch of the community in manchester! where do people organise these meet ups? in case I can attend in the future! (kind of surprised there isn't a furcon in either manchester or london tbh)

It can be tough with the scheduling sometimes, I did have to skip a few events based on schedule clashes but luckily I did manage to find time to do everything I wanted to do. I think I'll take things a little bit easier next year if I can though!

I know it's tough out there especially as a lot of the meets and cons are 18+ only. Your best bet is to find some like-minded friends to meet up at Geek Retreat and hang out. The best thing is to find a common interest in things you like and build up friendships from there.

Glad it was helpful! The new Z cameras released by Nikon are aimed at semi-professionals in particular for video work. Their current entry level cameras are Z50 and Z30 for more hobbyists. Smartphone camera technology has come along way, in general 90% of the time a relatively new smartphone can take phenomenal photos!
