I like to use 90’ pin headers with boards like this so they sit up vertically and don’t cover so much of the space underneath

hey, thanks for your Video. It try to measure realy low resistance Vape Coils with a 100mA constant Current (LM317), but i dont get it ... what do you think is the best way to measure 0.05 - 1 Ohm resistance with a constant current and the ADS1115 ? or maybe i am doing anything wrong in conversion

Hello : I wanted to comment that I had problems with the module ads1015 when wanting to measure 2 signals in differential mode. I want to clarify that the circuit with ads1115 does not share gnd with circuit that I am measuring (bridge rectifier without capacitor) voltage and current by means of a shunt. When I measure separately, the measurement is correct. When I want to measure both, the measurement is incorrect. I hope you can help me with the problem. Thank you.

Can you please share the code for single ended ADC1115 programmed with arduino. I am using the code one from githud but it isn't reading anything except 3.3 volt....!!

veena keeranagi, hello, I would be happy to. I don't have it on github, but I can send it in a text file to you. My email address is "[email protected]". Send me an email and I'll reply with the code.

Hi Martin, Thanks for reverting. I actually got the readings. The github code doesn't give values when we connect the addr pin of ADS1115 to GND, atleast in my case. I changed the connection of address pin to VDD and the code addrss 0x49. The code worked fine. However would like to know if you did anything different. I will mail you on the email provided above. Thanks again.

I am trying to set up an auto ranging measurement system and I was wondering whether it is safe to change the gain of the ads1115 inside the loop in the Arduino code. I want to select the best gain to use given the input voltage for the highest level of precision. The project I am working on is actually an ohm meter. Any suggestions?

You are videos are good because you use decent hardware to test product but The MAIN issue here is you talk to much and its kind boring showing us how to use calculator instead show us the part of code and explain it. You could write this in comment in arduino sketch and just explain fast and show the measurement because thats why most of your audience came here. You could test adc under different power supply datasheet shows that work from 2v to 5.5v you could test then instead doing calculation 10 min from 20min video. Anyway thanks for this video

It’s fun isn’t it? The precision on that sense resistor doesn’t matter. What matters is its power handling and temperature stability.

Reading for hours on the ADS1115. Why is it only 2 to 15 on a 16 bit ADC? The sign bit. If you start w/ this video, remember that.

Great job, thumbs up. Can you tell me plz, 4.09V will be the AO analog input voltage signal, or it is Vcc input of ADS1115. ?
@billymartin1921
@billymartin1921 7 жыл бұрын
Muhammad Shahzaib thank you for watching the video. That is a great adc chip. The 4.096v is the maximum allowed voltage to be input to A0 with the amplifier setting at a gain of one. So you can measure voltages from 0v to 4.096v on A0. If you set the amplifier gain to a different setting then your maximum input voltage on A0 changes. I hope this helps. Thank you. Bill

Hi, I found out (saw somewhere on the internet ;) ) that the INA219's voltage readout is only correct if the negative lead of the load (or the input) is connected to the Arduino's ground. I tried it and it worked.
