BEGINNER TIP fuck around and find out what works for others might not work for you same with building there’s no “best place to build”

Not sure if they changed it since this video was made but I can see spears and logs in "inspect mode" without survival sense. Survival sense just adds more stuff.

The number one tip is to avoid fighting cannibals and mutants unless an absolute must or you need the bones or creepy armor. There is really not much more incentive to fight them.

I kno its to make it so you dont run out of stuff but lowkey the items respawnjng pissed me off. It killed the vibe of the game so hard

This sounds diabolical. by being said in such a manner - "Kill them, grab the dead bodies, burn them and take the bones. Good building source - very economical." :D :D

Instead of wasting so much time in building all this, just build your base on an island and use ziplines made on platform near the water and on island and rafts to travel or build your shelter at the centre of the lake on a platform and use raft for travelling this way you won't need any defenses to protect your base and you can shoot cannibals from the raft and stay safe from mutants, it is an easy way to survive.

it takes WAY too fucking long to build anything more than a hunter's shelter in this game. Sad.

Me and my friend has played in a server for 10 ingame days, set to "normal", but we haven't met, seen or heard any cannibals throughout our entire playtime. We also went to that camp mentioned at 18:14 where it was pretty empty. Is this normal?

so you know the cave that you get dragged in when you die from cannibals? yeah there’s a spider mutant in there blocking the exit

build your small hut on a lake. mobs cant get to you since they have no path on the lake. no traps. no walls. just a hut. 200 logs at best. what the hell is this plane with walls and traps?

The "Rhino"... Yesterday I was playing with some friends for the first time and lost several hours of effort there those along with other mutant beings detroyend EVERYTHING! So a good tip would be, DON'T SET YOUR CAMP ON TOP OF FOUNDATIONS. At first it looks like an attractive way to make a clean base, but if the foundation is gone, everything else is gone with it. Drying Racks, Lodge, everything! :(

It's comforting to know this is how I kill ppl they are running slower frames than me. Lol jk bro keep it up but yeah if you walk through a area for ppl to see you don't just walk through the area... feel me? Either way props

It's easier to get fish using a spear

Just build extra resource storage then your people can access the stuff as well. Also, playing without adjusting the settings the settings is one thing but at least switch on fast craft and fast build, for your sanity and your viewers. I have never needed to buy milk to make cheese and I've been making something like 170 cheeses a season to sell. It's been my main income. I got my tavern about a year after the mill. My tip is the animals always seem to have more milk than their workers can keep up with. I go check them regularly

Been playing up to 7 buildings and married restarting for a couple of months. Why? Because I keep finding better places to build. I need to stick with one. I want a leveled housing area with some flat land for crops.leveled as in land elevation for the town.
