Now... Who was Allen calling for, when the Earl said him to call Mana, because... if Mana is the Earl, and he lives, how can Allen bring him back to life? I AM really confused ...

Okay ladies and gents, let me try to explain it to you. This here is some deep doctrine spoilers. I wasted an hour typing this, for maximum clarity. I have no problem with being wrong, so correct me if you find an error as I am not the one who wrote the story; but while I was going the story, The first Earl was killed by the one who held the Heart of Innocence some seven thousand years ago and a prophecy was made of his return. That Earl was reborn. The second Earl will be known as original Earl for your reading convenience. The original Earl separated himself into two. Mana and Nea. I am guessing that it is a more complicated version of Jasdevi's ability. When Mana killed Nea, believing himself to be whole after consuming the soul of Nea, he believes himself to be the Original Earl. But immediately after, Mana’s emotional and mental stability goes downhill. He does not feel whole, he disaffiliates himself from Mana and curses him for his actions. So basically, he is literally separating himself from Mana not just through a dissociative mindset. He separates himself once more and that part of the Earl and what was once Mana is rejected and split away and is reborn as a Noah. The Earl does not realize he has done this as he already believed himself to be a separate person. That soul, the recessive part of the Earl that dearly cared for Nea, seeks his brother. One the spirit and the mind. Nea was killed by the Earl/Mana. However, prior to his murder, Nea and Cross implanted all his (Nea’s) memories into that of an innocence-holding human. That human will eventually be taken over by Nea as a ready vessel. When Nea was killed, he returned to that human. The Noah controlled that human but along the way he became dormant and forgotten, and they met a travelling clown, who called himself Mana Walker. The boy and Mana became attached to each other, and the boy saw him as a protecting father figure instead of a brother because of the presumed age difference. The boy picks up the name of Mana’s dog, Allen, that had died. Three years later, Mana is killed. I don’t know how the Noah was killed. But Allen is going through extreme sorrow at this point. His other half, his brother, or his father, whatever angle you look it at, everything about Mana’s passing is traumatizing. And the Earl comes to the call of the sorrow of the soul. The Earl makes a series of mistakes at this point. If he had not come to harvest the two to make a powerful Akuma, Mana Walker would have been reborn just as all the Noahs have done. Mana curses his brother, Nea, and the innocence of the boy is awoken. Allen destroys the brought up Mana, saving himself and Mana from becoming an Akuma (potentially the first Noah-Akuma hybrid). However, these circumstances have caused Mana to become once more part of the Earl, but as is the case of Allen and Nea, it is dormant, but still there. Earl clearly notices something is clearly off, above and beyond the boy’s ability to reject and escape the Akuma transformation with innocence. Near the Third Exorcists Arc, Mana is no longer dormant. At the point, Earl’s mental stability seems to start cracking again, and begins to regress into his previous whirlpool of insanity where he had killed Nea. Original Millennium Earl= 1/2 Nea + 1/2Mana Original Millennium Earl= 1/2 Nea + (1/4 Mana Walker + 1/4 Earl) Millennium Earl= 1/4 Original Earl Allen= 1 Human + 1 Nea + 0 name of Mana’s dog (+ probably the heart of innocence, but I don’t know as the heart is now believed to be a sentient being, akin to Apocryphos) Written down, Allen has more percentage of the Original Millennium Earl than the Earl who calls himself the Millennium Earl at certain points in the story.

Well (probably you know it, but never mind xD), the manga has continued. In january chapter 221 will be out, so, if we cross our fingers and the author keeps being fine and writting, probably we'll have the anime back. But sure we'll have to wait a lot, because the actual serialization is trimestral, so... we hope thid amazing manga will gain its fame again, because we really love it <33

Taki Tiaoca It's better to just read the manga from the beggining. It's shorter than the anime and makes you think a little more. I prefer it because when you're reading the new chapters (which are amazing, you know xD) you think about the important parts in the anime. And the end of the anime is obviously not similar to the part of the manga where it is based. (Did I say it correct? Because I suck writting in english xDD)

+Aleksander Sand It was only on Hiatus. Hoshino has started writing again and will continue to release a long chapter once every couple of months. This allows her to work and keep herself healthy.
