Good video. I just did a 2013 optima, very similar to early model honda crv, but the kia starter bolts much easier to remove. And no, you don't have to remove the intake, but i did loosen it up just to give me more room to bring the starter down.

@all-about-cars-basics
@all-about-cars-basics 5 күн бұрын
A bunch of stuff can happen. But the most basic one that has a direct impact on you battery is that the car BMS (Battery Management System) will not recognize it as new battery and since it has been charging an older battery before the installation of the new one, the rate of charge from the alternator will be aggressive and will end up wearing out your new battery prematurely, meaning your new battery will not last long enough as a registered one.

@@danielsawicki4529 Oh! I seem to have misunderstood your first question. Unfortunately, Mercedes could not allow a user to play music using Bluetooth. It's amazing how they manage to put more plastic with each new generation. My 2010 has only metal parts in the oil cooler , but lots of other parts are plastic. All the plastic parts become brittle after around 5 years so here comes new bills if you are stubborn not to buy a new one .
@all-about-cars-basics

Nope. My c240 has the exact cover and its a v6
@all-about-cars-basics
@all-about-cars-basics 5 күн бұрын
It is not about the type of the cover. It is about the partitions on the cover. I am sure if you go and confirm it with your car cover. You will find out that there are three partitions on each side of the cover, making it a V6 engine.

This video is SO helpful! We completed this whole job & somehow misplaced one of the 3 E8 bolts that connect the trans Oil cooler to the Engine. I cannot find the bolt anywhere online or in store & BMW is telling me I have to spend $700 on a new Trans oil cooler JUST to get the bolt, they dont get sold seperately. Any ideas?? I found a regular bolt & O ring that are similar in size, does this bolt hold in liquid or keep air out? Anything important that would get ruined if I use a regular bolt?
