My mother always did this with leftover pie crust. She didn't use the egg wash and rolled her's up like cinnamon rolls. Delicious!

I have made a few of these & luv them as gifts. I have found a flaw in the extreme winds of Oklahoma....the hole in can eventually cuts thru string. Ive tried sanding around hole, using a lil glue, even glue a waser to can, nothing has helped. Any ideas how to prevent this?
